Xbox One How does xbox one notify when people send friend requests?

I see followers but never added to friends?
I miss that from the 360

As much as I hate to admit it.....I hate that it doesn't show when friends come online.

Glad you brought it up, was about to make a thread about it too. It is a little annoying. I read a thread here recently that there are some changes in the works for the UI, maybe they will think again about this feature too.

in order for them to be added to your friends, you must follow and and they must follow you. as far as a notification indicating that they signed on or are signed on are in the works.

I hope there is a way to turn it off if they do add it. Last thing I want to do is be interrupted when watching Netflix or YT or even TV and have popups all the time with people signing on and off.

The new message indicator is bad enough.

All I do is say "Xbox snap activity" when I want to see who is online. I would rather do it
when I want than be bothered with popups all the time.
