How many controllers will you purchase for the Xbox one? 1? 2? 3? 4? 5??

Personally, I will get 4 so that me and my friends can have enough to play together because with more people playing at the same time, the more entertaining the game is!

So, how many will you get and what will you do with them?

Eh, last generation I bought four for both my PS3 and 360. Honestly didn't use more than 2 most of the time, which was kinda a bummer. I hate how the majority of games lack offline multiplayer in favor of online multiplayer. Why can't we have both? Some games allow you to have 4 players offline and still all go online, which is awesome. More games need to support this. I don't care if that means lower resolution or less polygons.

I won't be buying any extra ones besides the one controller that comes with the ONE. Man, talk about a redundant mouth full, haha. Most of my gaming is done online, and I almost NEVER have people come over since I don't live in the same state as most of my old RL friends anymore. Plus, I play on a 23inch monitor, so trying to play Split Screen on something like that would be awful, not gonna lie. However, I currently own my Xbox 360, and a Wired 360 Controller, so if/when I do get my Xbox ONE, I'll still have my 360 controller for my PC Games, while I'll use the ONE Controller for the ONE, obviously.

I'll probably just get two. Anyways it's just me and my wife playing so there's no reason to get more than that. In case others will come to visit two is still enough. Anyways most of my games are online so I don't really use my console games that much (unless there's a good release like Fable Legends and Elder Scrolls)

Got to agree on that one. I will get two as well. I don't have anyone else to play with. Unless my dogs know how to play. haha. that would be surprisingly nice.

I am sticking to the one that comes with the system. I hate how consoles sell the controller in singles, Nintendo knew better back in the days.

For now I'm going with one, the ones that come in the box with the console is always the best to use. I have bought a couple for the 360 but none of them worked as well as the one that came with my 360 Pro. I will get one more down the line as a backup in case the first one breaks.

I think I'll stick with two controllers as well. As some of the others have said, we had a bunch of controllers for our 360, but typically never used more than two at a time. On the rare occasion that we might want to use more, I think we will just borrow the needed controllers from our friends for the evening.

2 will probably be the magic number for me now.

Currently living pretty much by myself and most of my friends aren't big on gaming,

I'll probably pick a couple up if my possible new roommates want to game and when Halo 5 comes out lol.

I picked up two. I'm thinking that's what I'll run with for now.

Well I picked up two but the other one broke down when my sister accidentally stepped on it. Now I have to get a spare, But i'll probably let her pay for it instead.

I'd say you should, controllers are like the price of a new game now. Like it was an accident, but a bit of a pricey one considering its a controller.

I purchased an extra controller for my XB1 so I have two. Don't think I'll be getting any more. If I do, it will be one additional controller.

Two. I say, if more than one person wants to play with me they can bring their own damn controller! :D
