I have an xbox 360 that I barely used, as I only have 3 games now. I kept trading them in and buying new ones, so now I'm broke and only have 3 games left! My xbox has a 60 GB hard drive and I am still debating of whether to go with xbox one or PS4. regardless, I am going to be selling my current xbox console and am wondering how much it will go for. Anyone have any ideas?

It really depends on which Xbox you have but based on Amazon's prices I'd say you can get between $50 and $100. Selling your xbox isn't a bad idea for you considering you don't use it. Your probably looking at getting a free next gen game if you sell yours.

Wow, really? max $100 is the most? I was looking at around $200, but I guess anything is fine, considering I don't use it anymore. But still, it's nothing comparing to the amount the new consoles and games are going to be worth.

Whatever you do, try and sell it to someone you know, or on amazon or eBay, just not GameStop, especially if your hoping for more than a few bucks for it. Maybe some kids parent wants to get their kid a beginner Xbox for cheaper than the new one.

200$ is next to impossible pal especially since it's only 60GB. You would be better off selling it on ebay or amazon. Other than that as someone else said if you have a friend who is interested in it, you could try selling it to him/her.

Realistically I don't think you'll even get 100$ most probably around 75$.

It depends where you live, here in the UK they go for ridiculously cheap, you could get one for £20-30 which is about $30-45, it does depend on what games and accessories you have with it though, the more of them you have the higher the price will be. But just for the console itself you won't get much at all. That's why I'm not selling mine, I'd rather hold on to it for a couple of years.

It depends on what kind of condition your Xbox 360 is in. If it's in mint condition, no scratches, looks as if it was bought on release date, then you can sell it for a decent amount. I would assume that this is the case because you barely used it, but if it's in a condition where there are minor scratches, then it would potentially sell for less. Your best chance at selling it is probably on eBay. Some of them are going for 40 bucks while some are going for $100. I would suggest you go somewhere between the middle, and sell it around $70 or a little more than that. Prices fluctuate and decrease, there will be one day where Xbox 360's will sell for around $40 while some days it will sell for $120. Right now, it's between the middle, so you won't get that much from the console unless you have something else to offer.

I was actually approaching this subject in regards to buying a used one. It really depends on how old the system is and how big the hard drive is. I'd have to say that most people are attempting to sell for 145 - 275 and based on those stats I would say the people who were selling at 125 - 135 were the ones who might have sketchy systems.

There's always a chance you might find a deal but most new Xboxes cost about $200+

Granted the ones I want to buy aren't your oldest and they aren't your arcade models so take my post as someone looking at higher end models.

I was able to sell mine for one-fifty recently; I played up the fact that it had a few downloaded movies and arcade games that 'added' to the value (never minding that a couple of those movies were the Twilight ones because guilty pleasures, heh). It also helped that I sold to a family member, I think! Maybe try selling it to family friends with kids, especially if you can throw in two controllers.

It really depends on the games that you have, but still a 60gb console won't give you much. I would say go for $125 and see what people want to offer for it. Just don't go lower than $75 that would be too low.

I'm selling mine for about $130 don't need it that much anymore, and I'm getting the new one soon.
