Xbox 360 Hunting Boar

I'm trying to find Boar in Far Cry 3 to make an ammunition pouch, but all I can find are pigs. I've been to two separate locations on the map, but I haven't been able to find any Boar at either. What am I missing?

You probably need to climb some more radio towers to unlock more areas of the map. When you first start playing, I don't think there are any areas in the default section of the map with boar in them.

I think Sam is right. When you first start playing, none of the areas that are open to you have boar - and note that the symbol on the map for the pig and the symbol for the boar are two different symbols. If all you're seeing on your map are pigs, keep opening up the map until you see a different icon. If I remember correctly, boar are to the south.

I was wondering about this, too. Thanks for posting, Jane. I haven't been playing long, so I've only climbed like 1 or 2 radio towers. I still have a LOT of map left to unlock!

janelane1 - I don't know if you're still looking for boar or if you've found them by now, but if you're still looking - or if anyone else is - you can find boar south of Amanaski. The coordinates are 440/640. Hope this helps!
