I got into the Xbox One early update preview program

i got an invite to get in on the early update preview program with xb1 kinda excited.. been taking polls and giving feedback all day.. kinda makes me feel special that my ideas are herd.. ive given a few reports of issues ive had.. done the challanges and such..

Sounds great. What kind of new stuff is in this update? Is there a new interface, extra features and stuff? I doubt it's going to be a new dashboard but no harm in hoping.

its actually in an app form... kinda hard to enplane...
basically their are challanges like it gives you directions to try something down to a t... you do it and go to a poll question.. usually like 5-7 mutiple choice questions about how easy it was to accomplish if you found it usefull do you think you would use the function..

their is a hdmi pass thru test going on iirc.(unfortunately i dont have a cable box) so i cant do that one..

iirc right now 2 challanges about 3 polls a quest... and a video of lary herb talking about something.

That's interesting. I'm a little jealous. Keep us updated. At least Microsoft is finally taking the opinions of its customers rather than just doing whatever it wants with updates to the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Microsoft's past updates haven't always improved the product, which is a shame. I'm hoping that the updates are actually valuable and useful moving forward because that's what everyone deserves.

I am in too, but no idea what it does. I got a roughly 300 meg update and all I see are polls and no idea what to do.

Go online and check your messages, that's where you get to download it from.

I looked in the app again last night and under Quest I think it was, I found something to do and answered some questions.

a major update went live today for the program.. check quests and polls allot of new stuff popped up today...

i think i can add people if you mesaage me on xbox live and are my friend.

There's actually some features that are missing or not working correctly so make sure this is something that you'd be comfortable with. For example, I just replied to another topic in this forum where a user thought a missing tab was due to some rare bug when it's really because he's in the Preview program and they disable or turn off some features every once in awhile as they test things. Just a heads up
