Xbox One I hope there are more launch titles for the rpg / character creation player

I am the kind of person who enjoys games like elder scrolls, fallout,
fable, mass effect ect. Games where you create your own character and
explore an open world.
Currently there are no character creation games in site.
Elder Scrolls online is out for me I don't want to pay a membership or waste endless hours in an mmo
just for it to shut down after 5 or 10 years.
I have gone through all of wal mart's and gamestop's
launch title lists for Xbox One and sadly the majority of the games are
Fps, Racing and Sports.
Assassin's Creed would catch my eye if the last one didn't disappoint me
Quantum Break looks cool but I would like more than 2 launch games for myself
and I am having a tough time finding some,
I looked at Dead Rising 3 it looks very cool but after playing state of decay I feel it is a step down gameplay wise
only getting 1 character to play as instead of selecting from a group of survivors. I know the other 2 didn't let you do that but
we are in the 3rd gen of Xbox now and a bit of variety wouldn't hurt would it?
I did preorder the Xbox one but with the low amount of games for a player like me it is painful to drop the $500+ just to wait till next year for something great like star wars to come along.
I wish Bethesda or bioware would pull an amazing game out of their hat for launch that fits my genre.

Yeah, i also enjoy a lot RPGs that let me create my own character, and i do hope that some will pop up soon after the release of the console, maybe on the beginning of the first year. Even if it is a multi-plataform game, any new one is welcome.

Project Spark has the potential to be home to the experience you are seeking...but it may take the community a while to build up to some epic experiences. While you are waiting, might as well take a crack at making the perfect character creation/open world game yourself.

It's just a matter of time, I'm sure we'll be seeing more from Bioware, and their games usually allow you to create your character. Bethesda will certainly release more TES and Fallout games, so that's something to look forward to, too. But they haven't announced anything so far...

But I agree that I want more of these because I like customization.

Like claptrap said, it won't be long until we start seeing great RPG games that allow the player total customization. I'm sure that after the PS4 and Xbox One get settled, the 3rd party publishers will begin to develop great games for the systems. I'm really excited to see what great games await us in the near future. I'm certain that they won't disappoint.

I have always been sucker for RPG games. I just can't get enough of it. There couldn't be a better time to be a RPG fan, because there is so many upcoming games with RPG characteristics. There aare MMOs like Destiny, The Division and ESO and single player games like Dragon Age: Inquisition and The Witcher 3 that are all about RPG mechanics. What more can one ask for as a RPG fan?

I really enjoy RPGs as well, especially ones that I can make the character to be whatever I want. I do like MMOs, but I don't do subscriptions. That way if they shut down, I'm not at a loss.
However, there are plenty of companies that make them, I don't the XboxOne will go without. If they're not on the list now, they're surely in the making somewhere.
