Since I enjoy drawing so much, I am wondering if this game is likely to be something that I will enjoy. Is it based on simply repeating motions,or does it allow for real creativity?
I had a go on it at a friend's house once, though I'm no artist so am probably not best qualified to critique it... You use a stylus to draw on the pad as if it were pencil and paper - it's not the most accurate and precise thing in the world (it is meant to be a game more than an actual piece of drawing software after all) but it's good enough. It's quite clever as it does pick up how hard you're pressing and adjust the image that appears on the screen accordingly. The good thing about it is that there are lessons you can play through to learn how to use the different techniques. Though even they would probably struggle to improve my drawing skills!
That sounds like it could be a lot of fun! So the drawing pad and stylus come with the game, I would assume, rather than being a separate purchase (like Kinect)? I may have to check ebay.
