This is the only Tomb Raider I have played since the PS1 era, so I'm not inclined to talk about Lara's infamous post-PS1 track record. This is also not quite a current-gen game, as it was developed in the twilight days of the sixth console generation, so I'll cut it some slack. The core feel of the game is alright, and from what I remember, not unfamiliar to how Lara should control in a Tomb Raider game. There can be frustrations with the platforming that aren't the fault of the player, but again, this is more of a sixth gen game. The gunplay isn't too appealing, and engagements are without much strategy, and thus tedious. Boss fights exacerbate this, and they can even feel obnoxious at times. The levels are fairly cohesive and well-conceived, and if it's one thing that Legend gets right, it's the puzzles. If you can forgive the faults, this is a fairly decent adventure, and while it's not my cup of tea, I can't say it's not worth picking up for a bargain.
Alternatively, you could just pick up the new Tomb Raider; I've heard some good things about it. x)
