Xbox One If you preordered the Xbox One how are you getting ready???

I know with less than 2 weeks to go, I already cleared a spot for my Xbox One and already ran the digital optical and Ethernet.

I only need to figure out where the games are going to go, but being I only am getting 4 at launch its not a problem yet.

What have others done?

Same here, I just took my controllers out of a space and put them on the bottom with the 360 games. So Im all spaced up. I cleaned around my area and its not to hard to get behind my stand to plug it into the HDMI port for my reciver. As for my 360 since we dont have cable we are actually going to plug our 360's in the HDMI In to free up an HDMI spot for whatever else. As for the night prior my wife and I are going to BB to interview and take pictures of the people in line and just have a good time. On the 22nd we both have the day off so when the X1's come in the wife will record me and my beautiful face unboxing it and ill post it up here for you guys. Got some peeps comin over through out the day and gonna have pizza and stuff and chill while the update downloads. Also as for games Im going all DD so ill just put BF4, K.I., and Crimson Dragon int he que and let them all download. Thats pretty much it

I have been cleaning out the man cave and debating on getting a wall mount. Rearranging and stuff, cleaned the floors, etc. I want my gaming experience to be perfect.

I've got work to do this weekend. I'm prepping space on my new entertainment stand and it will be sitting directly next to my Xbox 360. The entertainment stand hovers my HDTV and has a shelf for Kinect! SO READY FOR MY ONE!!!

The wife and myself are rearranging tonight for the launch "party". So i'll be doing som rewiring and prepping. I'll be having people come visit through out launch weekend leading up to Sunday when i will be watching NFL Redzone via the Xbox!

-Finishing off the last 3 AC games on 360 which I already own and haven't touched
-Cleaning up my gaming area to make room for both consoles

What I am really doing:

I need to make space as I don't have room for more than 2 consoles in my bedroom so i'm going to take the PS3 downstairs and use that as a blu ray player for the family. If I want to play any of my ps3 games, i'll just bring it back upstairs every once in a while.

Xbox One can then go on my tv unit where my PS3 used to be along with my 360.

I don't think there is anything else I need to do, except maybe buy a few cans of an energy drink but I can do that on 22nd while waiting for the courier cos i've got to go out that day anyway to pick up preordered games.

I have never used a kinect before, anyone know if its better to go in front of the TV neat the bottom or try to mount it on top?
Mine will go on a 73" HDTV so need to figure out something.

Also does it come with any type of mount, or its just sits there?

This is something I might have to think about and work on.

All I can do is tell you how the current one is, but it seems similar in appearance to the new one.. I have the 360 Kinect sitting on top of a rear projection tv right now, and my buddy has his below a flat screen. Neither is mounted in any way. Both work fine.
