Xbox One I'm having probs with voice control

I've calibrated my Kinect several times now but I still have to repeat myself several times to get voice commands to work on the One. What's up with this? What else can I do to fix the problem? Anything?

Save yourself some frustration and remove the kinect now. When it was first released I was one of the biggest kinect supporters out there, but that went downhill fast and now mine is not even connected. I do not have any accent and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

So many times I repeated myself over and over, muted the volume, repeated over and over and finally just used the controller.

Nothing, it's just the way the Kinect is programmed. It hardly recognizes different accents and slangs. Don't bother with the voice commands, it's a pointless gimmick. Pressing a button is way faster than using your voice. I unplugged the Kinect once I got everything set up.
