I was wondering how people feel about the remote controlled car in this game. Some people think it is a totally fair choice to use and that there should be no issue when it is used. Other people feel that it cheapens the game because it is pretty much an automatic kill every time it is deployed. My opinion is that if the developers put it in the game, then it is meant to be used and people should not complain about it. What do you think?

I disagree entirely. It is not an automatic kill every time, I've had times where I have attempted to get a kill using the RC:XD, but they manage to jump back, or quickly hide behind a wall as I press the trigger to blow the car up, and therefore led me to not getting that kill. I'd say 70% of the time you do get a kill, but the other 30% you don't.

Honestly, Call of Duty is all about this sort of thing. Players who do well get rewarded with free kills, and this makes the game that much more enjoyable for them. On the flip side, it's not so fun when the chips are down, and it's very annoying to get killed consecutively by killstreak rewards. However, if you find the RC-XD in particular to be annoying, try using Flak Jacket.

The short answer is yes, killstreaks like the RC-XD are cheap, but Call of Duty is a casual type of multiplayer FPS.

Well that's why it's a killstreak for a reason. I personally use flak jacket so I don't have to worry about it at all. I could tank the RC-XD all day. Also, most of the time I can hear it coming and I just shoot it when it's near. You'll need some pretty quick reflexes though. It gets pretty intense trying to destroy the thing before it kills you. Come to think about it, I even took one out with a tomahawk, i'm pretty sure it was a challenge.
