I would love to know if you think something is missing from the Xbox one.
The main one for me is the lack of backwards compatibility and also, the lack of sales on the marketplace like steam has.

My two biggest complaints about the Xbox One are it's achievements and it's seemingly inability to update games unless I launch them.
Xbox One can be always online so updates are a thing of the past however every time I start a game up, I need to start an update. This should be done in the background without me needing to prompt it for all installed games.

I agree to be honest. I do believe that they should just make it so it updates while you are away from it or in bed so when you comeback on, you can play straight away. I also think the achievements dont seem as rewarding anymore and i just cant explain why. I wish they meant something like you could get avatar stuff with the points you earn.

I would love backwards compatibility but who knows it that will or will not happen.

i agree with game updates i will go further with purchases from xbox store que up and the console has to be on.. seems the only thing microsoft/xb1 can push thru is the system updates...

i would like to see the ability to make custom music tracks with the expansion of external hdd and people storing music it would make sense to be able to have personal sound tracks. i guess you can do it if you run xbox music in snap while playing but id rather it not be an overlay of music and rather integrable.

Removable hard drive, better GPU, and it should have atleast included a rechargeable battery pack. Besides that I love it!

The ability to take it offline, or at least the ability to not have to leave it on all the time. Why they ever thought always online was going to be a good idea I don't know. Did they not learn from Simcity 4 and Diablo III? Or just use their common sense?

I've actually been waiting for a game like this, where the environment actually means something to the gameplay. People were saying next-gen wasn't that big of a leap graphically, but gameplay wise this is brilliant. Birds flying away when scared? Miles of territory to search with interactive wild-life? Last-gen couldn't have supported all of the tiny complexities that this game is offering. I'm really impressed.

Definitely backwards compatibility with the Xbox 360 games, that would be the very best feature they could have. However it's not likely to happen which really sucks...

Well they did say the they're planning on bringing some form of backwards compatibility, I think... it's understandable that it's missing, but it really would have been nice for it to be there at launch...

One thing for me is definitely not having backwards compatibility. The 360 had it even though not all games are supported but at least it's there. I know having BC will probably increase costs and price so it's better to not having it at all. I guess it's not too big of a deal as I can still play them on my 360.

If anything, models which have BC have would be less expensive as they're usually announced as part of a price cut, to try and attract new customers.
