I honestly think so for me. I remeber thinking that Grand Theft Auto: San Andrea's world was huge, then I discovered Just Cause. I was stunned, until I played the second game. So now I'm wondering if there are even bigger worlds out there...

I thnik the next gen games like The Division, The Crew, Destiny and a current gen game, GTA V has some of the biggest world we are yet to see. The closest to release is GTA V. We will see where Just Cause 2 stands after these games get released.

The thing is, when you try to mod Grand Theft Auto games, you see how their worlds are really small, even Grand Theft Auto IV. They just look big because of how small the player size is. Same thing with Just Cause 2, and a lot of the map is basic geometry, nothing too complex, And the biggest map is from Arma 3 if i remember correctly, with FUEL being behind only for a few miles.

I remember some time ago seeing a list of the largest worlds. I remember one of them being Fallout 3 which I really agree with. That said I haven't played this game enough to say how I feel about world size although it is fairly large.

Yeah, this was the list you were thinking of. This was back when maps were so huge it would literally take days to cross on foot. For me, a lot of the large open worlds may have size, but most of them also have little substance beyond just scenery. One of the the things I always liked about Fallout over Elder Scrolls is that exploration in Fallout was always rewarding and most exploration in Elder Scrolls is without merit.
