Xbox 360 Just As Good?

I never played Far Cry 2 before playing Far Cry 3, but if they are anything alike, I'll have to have them both! I am loving EVERYTHING about Far Cry 3, especially how it combines aspects of so many different games. Is Far Cry 2 just as good as Far Cry 3?

I haven't played Far Cry 2, but from the reviews I've read online, Far Cry 3 sounds a LOT better. In Far Cry 2, you don't start out with a predetermined "main" character. It's more like an RPG, where you choose a character to play as. The reviews highlighted some good points about the game too, but overall, it sounds to me like Far Cry 3 is a MUCH better game.

I had never heard of the Far Cry franchise before Far Cry 3 came along, so I can't say if the first two games are better, worse, or the same. After playing Far Cry 3 though, I would give the first two games a shot.

I would give it a chance, but you'll probably find that you like Far Cry 3 better. I think the fact that many people never heard of the Far Cry games until 3 came out speaks volumes.
