Kinect Mic on XBOX ONE *MS PLS READ*

Hello fellow Xbox Brothers,

I am very satisfied with the Xbox One but I do have one minor suggestion for people like me that place their Kinect sensor directly under the TV where most TV speakers are located, which makes it a bit difficult for the Kinect to pick up voice commands when the TV's volume is up or better yet, when your surround sound is on.

I think Microsoft should come out with a mic extender. this can be wireless through usb. the mic can be placed in the middle of the room somewhere on the wall. you can make it look nice and small not an eye sore, maybe an xbox logo or something nice and it can come in different colors to match different room colors.

lets face it, having friends over to show off the console and it's features starts to go downhill when they see you repeating yourself and screaming across the room hoping that it catches your voice.

another thing you can do in the meantime is enable the included headsets to pick up voice commands when not in game....maybe have it so you can enable this in options somewhere......it will be extremely helpful.

thanks

ps - tell me what you guys think about the idea and any further input would be nice. ;)

That's a pretty good idea. Also, as stated in in one of the other threads by Gezer2u. Go through the setup on the Kinect again. This time turn up the volume as loud as the Xbox will allow. I started real loud, and it told me it was too loud, so I kept turning it down till it proceeded with the calibration. It seemed to help it recognize my voice a little better.
