Mafia 2 Achievement Guide. Part 2.
If you are not able to find the required achievements, check out the "Mafia 2 Achievement Guide. Part 1."
Men at Work (50)
Complete Chapter 14.
This is story related and can’t be missed. You need to finish Chapter 14: “Stairway to Heaven”
Mission 1: “Never Forget”
Take a long ride to the way point and kill the old Mafia rat that has been counting his days watering his flowers. For that mission you will be given an amazing car that is not only fast but looks great. However, you need to keep it in a good shape or otherwise there is a great possibility that you will be forced to replay the mission. Drive to the place and let Joe do the shooting. After killing the target, you will have federal agents chasing you. Things can’t go the other way so now you need to get rid of those feds by driving like a maniac, taking long winding roads and using other tricky ways to get those off your tail. When you’re done – take Joe to a way point and drop him off. Change your clothes too as far as you are still wanted. Head to the docks afterwards.
Mission 2: “Dock Work”
At the docks you will be asked to become a part of “intervention” and teach the dock workers a valuable lesson. But, due to some certain circumstances you will change your mind and instead of killing dock workers you are going to turn your fire against Derek and Steven. Use your shotgun. Despite all the bad expectations, it will provide you with an amazing fire range and precise shooting even on the middle range shooting. Also, you can rely on the dock workers: they won’t win the fight but they will definitely help you out with killing off Steve outside the warehouse. But, you will be forced to continue the massacre on your own inside. A very good tip here is to take a car and drive into the building. It won’t help you to kill your enemies but will provide with the cover and this is something you really and really need. When inside – watch for Derek because he will be throwing explosives at you and at the very same time his guards will do their best to flank and illuminate you. Take them out one by one before moving to the top. Don’t worry – Derek is not some kind of terminator and you will be able to take him down pretty easy. Just make sure you send a few good gunshots into his direction. When Derek is dead – check his safe and take all the cash. There won’t be a lot but pretty much enough money to pay your debt to the loan shark. If you still are low on cash – rob gun shops for a big payoff.
Mission 3: “Skyscrapping By”
It is really nice of you to gather your half of the debt all by yourself but you need to remember that Joe hasn’t got his yet. Well, the debt is yours (I mean yours and his) and you need to pay it back together. Enjoy a couple of cut scenes and follow the trail of way points to find out that Joe was taken to the Mona Lisa bar. Drive there and you will soon appear near the a half built skyscraper. Enjoy a cut scene. Kill three guards with sneak attacks after it ends. Let Joe take point as much as possible. Once the Vinci mobsters notice you, it should turn into a serious gun fight. The strangest thing is that even during all the heavy shooting there will be collectibles waiting for you, so make sure to pick them up. Also, do not forget about gathering enemies’ weapons and towards the bottom you will find a stockpile of grenades. Pick them up and use them as you enter the lobby. Enemies will be coming from all sides so throw those small things of happiness at your will but do not forget to concentrate on the stairs to the left first, then – sweep right to execute the renaming enemies. Some of the bad guys will even be under you and you will be forced to find a proper angle to get a good shot at them. When you’re out – drive Joe to El Greco for some healing. After that – return your debt to the load shark and finish the chapter.

Finish Him (50)
Finish what you started.
This is story related and can’t be missed. You need to finish Chapter 15: “Per Aspera Ad Astra”
Mission 1: “Observing Danger”
Well, you’ve dragged yourself into a very uncomfortable situation: Leo and the Tongs want you dead and the only thing you can do to survive the trouble is to make a deal with Vinci by joining him and killing off Falcone together. This is going to be your last stand so prepare for more than just tough battle. From the very beginning try shooting off the Falcone mobsters that approach closest and pick up their guns. Those will be powerful machine guns and shotguns and they will actually win you the fight. When ready, move along the observatory's outer ring stopping to take cover and kill all enemies that approach. When you’re done killing the bad guys outside – get inside and start partying there. The first thing you need to do is to take out roof enemies and then concentrate on those with a few grenades when they are out of ammo. Move up for more action and get back if you think that things are getting tougher than expected. On the roof you will find the rest of collectibles so make sure you search for them after all the bad guys hiding from you are dead. When you are done gathering things – enter the second dome. You'll be descending down a long flight of stairs. While moving forward, try to stay closer to the walls because display cases in the center won’t provide good cover. Being on your own in a fight like this means that you are definitely going to take heavy casualties on your health, so do not advance too far and always stop for rest to restore some health. Falcone's men will always outnumber you so rushing into the crowd might not be a good idea. In a closed and close area your shotgun is your best friend. On the long distance you might wanna use either the magnum or the machine gun.
Mission 2: “Da Boss”
On your last fight Joe will be with you and together you are going to stand against tons of enemies. The room you are going to fight in is a full circle which means that danger can come from anywhere. Also, chairs are not that good for hiding so make sure you move a lot and find something better for cover. A very good spot for illuminating strategy are the small control booths: you can guard one side and Joe will cover the other allowing you to easily take out Falcone's guards. When you take care of the whole army of bad guys, you are going to meet Falcone himself. He will come at you with a toting machine gun. To take him down, all you need to do is to aim for a headshot and perform one. When you kill the target – you complete the game. For some guidance you can check out the videos below.

Made Man (50)
Finish the story on Medium difficulty level.
The task is simple – you need to complete the game with all its 15 Chapters on Medium difficulty. If you choose this difficulty at the very beginning, the achievement will unlock
automatically. For more tips I suggest you to check out achievements that have chapter by chapter guidance and also take a look at the next achievement called “Tough Nut”.
Tough Nut (100)
Finish the story on Hard difficulty level.
The task is simple – you need to complete the game with all its 15 Chapters on Hard difficulty. If you choose this difficulty at the very beginning, the achievement will unlock automatically. It also shouldn’t be very hard since you do a lot of driving and a fair amount of shooting. For more tips I suggest you to check out achievements that have chapter by chapter guidance. Also, here’re some tips to keep you character alive:
- Try to stay in cover as much as possible. Usually, shooting missions do not have time limitations which means you can take time to think about your next move and further strategy. But you also need to remember that smart enemies can flank you. Choose only solid and tough covers, otherwise you might get killed with the first bullet shower;
- The best strategy to shoot back at enemies is to wait for them to reload. If they are using cover to reload – be ready to shoot once they look around the corner or from behind the box. Aim for their last shooting position.
- Usually, in combat situations you have a couple of exits where your enemies will be running from which means – you know where to aim. Just point your gun in the right direction and be ready on the trigger.
- If you just can’t finish a certain passage or fail at a certain spot – try to use different tactics, different guns or moving opposite directions. Do not forget to take advantage of your companions (in a good way, of course). When they are shooting at others – flank your opponents and kill them from behind or something like that.
- NEVER rush into things and don’t shoot back when you are shot at: you will be killed in no time. On the Hard difficulty enemies are very and very tough to get through.
- Always check your ammo before you start the assault. This is the main principle that will keep you alive. No ammo – no shooting, no shooting – dying quickly.
- Do not forget to use the “A” cover system. This allows you to slide between covers fast without getting hurt. Strategy like this becomes very useful when you can’t get a proper shot or you are ambushed/flanked by your enemies.
Get Rich or Die Flyin’ (10)
Get all wheels of your car into the air for at least 20 meters and then touch the ground again.
The best way to do this is during Chapter 8. Clear all the thugs at the Old Foundry and you will be told to take a car to sell it for cash. This red devil is really fast and will help you to unlock a couple of achievements. Press “Back” on your controller and set a way point at your apartment. There will be a long stretch of road and while going down this road – drive as fast as you can. At the very end of this long passage you will see a busier part of the city and here the street will drop a little enough to let you be in the air for 20+ meters.

Pedal to the Metal (10)
Travel at 125 mph.
If you’ve been trying to unlock “Get Rich or Die Flyin”, there is a great possibility that you unlocked this one as well. The earliest you can get this achievement is during Chapter 8 when you need to take one of the "Greasers" hot rods to Derek. Take the car to a body shop and upgrade the performance twice. Now find a straight road and drive until you reach 125 mph on your speedometer. The big bridge that connects two pieces of land found in the center might be a perfect place. Also at the end of the bridge you will find a busier part of the city and here the street will drop a little enough to let you be in the air for 20+ meters which will also unlock “Get Rich or Die Flyin” achievement. Two birds with one stone. In the video below you will find an alternative solution.

One Careful Owner (10)
Travel a total of 50 miles in one vehicle.
Technically, you can unlock this achievement by simply driving all over the city. You need to remember that this car cannot be blown up or run out of gas. And yes – this has to be one car but whatever car you like. It’s OK if you leave the car somewhere during the mission. You can also go and respawn it in the garage. As an interesting alternative you can do the following:
- Choose a fast car (Roller GL will work great);
- Get to the bridge;
- Drive up and down the Brooklyn Bridge for about 30 times and this will be about 50 miles. If you are close to wrecking your car by crashing a few times, there is a garage on the right side of the Bridge very close, just repair it there and get back on the track.

Proper Scrapper (10)
Sell 5 vehicles to Mike Bruski at the scrapyard.
If you enjoy crashing things – this is one of those achievements you are going to like the most. Mike Bruski is a lucky owner of the scrapyard and this is a perfect place to hide things that shouldn’t be found. And yes – I am talking about dead bodies. But, in order to unlock this achievement you won’t have to kill 5 people. Just find 5 cars and crash them in a Car Crasher. This shouldn’t be done in a row but you can if you want to. Also, it might be a bit tricky because cars do not spawn at the scrapyard and you will have to walk around in order to find 5 of those.

Exporter (10)
Sell 5 vehicles to Derek at the dock.
Unlocking this achievement is not hard but you will have to spend some time looking for proper items. You see, the trick is that Derek is interested only in expensive cars and not regular vehicles. Here’s the list of those that will be good for the job:
- Ascot Bailey S200: $2497.50
- Berkley Kingfisher: $2500.00
- ISW 508: $4500.00
- Jefferson Provincial: $1600.00
- Lassiter Series 69: $1750.00
- Lassiter Series 75 Hollywood: $2585.00
- Shubert Frigate: $1750.00
- Smith Thunderbolt: $1350.00
- Smith 34 Hot Rod: $1900.00
- Delizia Grandeamerica: $6250.00 (Joe's Adventures only)
- Waybar Hot Rod: $1150.00 (The Betrayal of Jimmy)
Also, a very good way to identify a good car is to watch at its doors. If it’s a two door car then there is a great possibility that this is the one that can be accepted by Derek. Get in the car, drive to the docks at the bottom of the map, drive the car onto the platform and exit your car, get off the platform and receive your reward. Also, here are some tips to make things easier for you:
1. If you want to increase your income from the cars you sell to Derek, make sure you drive them in a perfect condition. The better the car looks – the more money you are going to get. The easiest way to do that is to visit a repair shop on your way to docks.
2. There is one car that spawns constantly at Bruski's Scrapyard and can be sold to Derek. It’s Smith V8. You will find it right across the car crusher. If you have some problems getting this achievement, this is a perfect way to change your luck. Also – here’s a map.
3. The bad news is that if you sell Derek a car that has been stored in your garage, you will lose it forever. So, if this is THE car you would like to drive constantly and keep in your disposal, make sure it is not seen on the platform in the docks.
4. If you have troubles unlocking this achievement, the good news is that Derek accepts duplicates which means you can sell him the very same model of the car if you happen to have a few or even the whole 5. For example, you can check Smith V8 that spawn in Bruski's Scrapyard area and drive five of those to the docks, ship them and still get 10G achievement points for the freshly unlocked achievement. You can check the spawn spot on the map listed in the second tip.
5. Despite being mentioned in the list, there might be a problem of accepting the Smith Custom 200 Police Special and the regular Smith Custom 200. So, if you can’t get it on a board – just leave it and find something else instead. Some users say that this is a bug.

Cruise Control (10)
Keep any vehicle at 30 mph or over for 5 or more minutes.
In order to complete this achievement quickly you will have to find a fast car and drive the entire around staying above 30 mph at the same time. It is not hard as long as you do not
stop and follow the route. You see – if you drop your speed to less than 30 mph – you will be forced to replay the achievement. Also, as far as the highway is pretty straightforward, it allows you to keep the speed on the required level and drive almost as long as possible. Put the speed limiter on with the “A” button (do not set it too low or too high, 50 will be OK) and start driving. Going at this speed will allow you to complete the achievement without running out of road too early. For more information check the video below.

Hairdresser (10)
Kill 5 enemies in rapid succession with a headshot.
There are two areas where you can unlock this achievement.
Area #1
At the very beginning of the game you can attempt to shoot 5 guys with your rifle. There are just 5 of them and if you success – you will get 10G points. If not – replay the mission until you get one. If things still won’t work – try to move to the next area.
Area #2
This area is not far from the first one and is even better. When you get on the balcony at the second floor and happen to be alone, you will see Germans running on the street. Take your time (but not too much) and kill them with headshots. But, even if you kill one with a simple shot, don’t rush to hit the replay button. In a second your combat body will appear leading the way but he will be attacked by the Italian allies and you can shoot this bad guy in the head. So, technically there are 6 guys you can kill with your rifle and if you miss one head – hunt for the next one. If not – replay the mission.

Knucklehead (10)
Kill a total of 30 enemies using melee attacks.
There is a slight chance that this will come to you naturally but we won’t risk it and will show you an easy way to get things done quickly. First of all, your enemies are supposed to be other mafia members, people from gangs or policemen. By the way – dock workers are also counted as enemies. Now, all you have to do is to start a fight and finish the guy. Do this 29 more times and this achievement will be unlocked. In order to start a fight you will need to provoke someone and this can be done by pressing the “B” button. Docks seem to be perfect for multiply fights but if you do not want to show your skills there, try anywhere else but not on close to the roads if police sees you fighting, they are going to arrest you or even worth.

Stuck Up (10)
Rob 5 stores in under 5 minutes.
Actually, it’s easier than it sounds. Your task is to rob 5 stores in 5 minutes but luckily – these can be any stores including gas stations. Usually, fellows at the gas stations won’t fight you back, so just get closer, scare them out, take the money and run away. If the shop owner starts a fight – fight him back (this won’t be hard – just keep beating him up). Gun shops are believed to be the most dangerous but if you manage to start a fight fast enough – you won’t be shot at. If not – well, shoot back! Easy places to rob are Clothing Stores and Gas Stations. Do not forget to get a fast car – this will help you to cover distances between shops faster. Also, find a place where shops/gas stations and all the other places that can be robbed are close to each other. This also helps to get things done in time.

The Enforcer (10)
Kill 50 enemies.
This will definitely come to you with the natural progression and, if you kill enough enemies in the very first mission, you can unlock this achievement too. All you have to do is to keep shooting. Just make sure that your gun is loaded.
Sharp Suiter (10)
Buy your first luxury suit.
You won’t be able to buy a fancy suit right at the beginning of the game. This opportunity opens in Chapter 9. Once you leave the restaurant (this is a mission point) – head to the closest clothing store (it will be very close). Now, choose something from “tailored suits” and buy it for $110. Once you’re done – you will get the achievement. However, there is a special clothing store that offers tailored suits for $90 and you can get it even sooner (according to the video below – Chapter 3).

Tuned Ride (10)
Upgrade one of your cars one level.
There is an amazing opportunity to unlock this achievement without even paying for it and if you are low on cash – this is a right thing to do. Here’s how it works: when Joe takes you to the car shop for your first time, he is willing to pay for any changes you make to the car. In other words – you can upgrade your car to the available maximum at no cost. If you’ve finished the mission already – just get the car you’d like to go faster and be better, go to a tuning shop and request the basic upgrade. This should cost you around $300-$400. For more information you can check out the video from the "Dream Handling" achievement.
Dream Handling (10)
Upgrade one of your cars to the maximum level.
You can actually get two achievements in one session. There are two levels of tuning found in the game, Basic and Advanced. Go to any car shop in the city and purchase both of them. After you upgrade your car at the first time – you will get “Tuned Ride” achievement. When you continue upgrading your car, you are supposed to get to the maximum level and receive “Dream Handling.” However, the advanced upgrade won’t be available until Chapter 7 so it might be a good idea to hold up a bit and get all in one after you reach the required level. By the way – get ready to spend about $1000 on the maximum upgrade. The final sum will depend on the car you’re driving: the better the car – the higher the price.

Hard to Kill (10)
The police want you dead. Survive for 10 minutes!
There is an easy way to complete the achievement and the hard way to get things done.
1. Easy. Find an armored truck. That won’t be easy but it will make this achievement pretty simple to get. The thing is that the armored truck is completely bulletproof and no matter how long police will keep shooting at you – your character won’t die. But, you still have to watch out for the front shooting: this is the only vulnerable spot of the truck. Now, get to a 4 Star Level wanted and drive in the truck for 10 minutes. If you are tired of driving or just do not want to drive around in circles, you can do the following: find a place with the stairs and park your truck there. Usually, cops do not try to run in front of you and they will just keep shooting. Wait the required time and when 10 minutes past – you will get the achievement. And the last but not the least: Make sure you are “wanted” and in sight of a police officers at all times. Otherwise, you might be forced to restart the achievement and wonder in the truck for another ten minutes.

2. Hard. The Hard way is really straightforward – survive to 10 minutes while being wanted. Do it whatever you like, drive whatever you want but just survive. Or, you can get to a 4 Star Level wanted, get to your house and keep fighting there. It’s a nice alternative if you can’t find an armored truck.

Collector's Item (10)
Find at least one collectible in the game.
It should come to you naturally because some of the items lie at the very obvious places. In order to unlock this achievement you simply have to pick up one. If, by any chance, you are having problems doing that, check this video from the "Ladies' Man" achievement. You can also check the “Card Sharp” achievement for wanted posters which happen to be collectables as well.
Petrol Head (30)
Drive at least 30 different vehicles.
All in all there are 35 different vehicles that can be found in the city. Your task is to find and drive only 30 of them. In order to steal a car you can either press the “Y” button and unlock it safely or press the “B” button and get into the car by breaking the window. Try to do that when cops are not around because otherwise you might get caught. Here’s the list of cars you are supposed to find:

Ladies' Man (40)
Find all of the Playboy magazines.
All in all there are 50 Playboy magazines you can collect and they look pretty awesome (you can’t blame me for saying that). Lots of them can be easily missed because very often they appear during the mission, especially when you are shooting at someone. But, you can still pick them all up if you follow this video guide. Card Sharp (40)
Find all of the Wanted posters.
All in all there are 159 Wanted posters and you need to find them all in order to unlock this achievement. It won’t be an easy task because a greater part of those is missible but with the help of the following videos we won’t let you lose this one.

He Who Pays the Barber (10)
Improve the dockworkers' haircuts.
This is story related and can’t be missed. Chapter 3. Talk to Derek and he is going to give you a job which is pretty simple: you need to ask the workers for their monthly payment of the barber. While most of them will give you the money followed by curse words and unhappy faces, Big Bill will try to stand for his believes and won’t give you a dime. Just on the contrary – he will challenge you for a fight. Use the standard strategy to defeat him: dodge and hit back, dodge – hit back. After you’re done, get back to Derek and after a cut scene you will get the pop up message.
A Lesson in Manners (10)
Show that you know how to treat a lady.
This achievement is actually missible. At the very beginning of Chapter 5, when you leave the building, you are going to see a cut scene of an accident. When it ends, you can simply walk away or do the opposite and run to a woman and a man fighting. Now – talk to the guy and beat him up. When you’re done – this achievement will become yours.

Hey Joe (10)
Clean up after Joe.
Chapter 10. You will find Joe drunk as hell at the Lone Star drunk. Because of the alcohol talking in him, he will shoot the bartender. Get to the place, take the body in the trunk and drive Joe home. Now, drive the car to the Scrapyard without hitting or getting the police involved. When at the place – put it in the crusher and make a sandwich out of it. When done you will get your 10G points.

End of the Rainbow (10)
Settle the score with the Irish once and for all.
This achievement should come to you naturally but it also happens to be missible and if you plan to unlock it – make sure you do everything fast and right. This achievement can be unlocked only in Chapter 11. After the attack on your house, you will surely seek for revenge. Your task is to make an assault on the Irish Bar that is being used as HQ. Be careful because every Irishman in the bar will do his best to kill you. Take cover – shoot back, pick up bartender’s shotgun and move further. A part of Irish mugs will try to run away. Chase them through the back door. You will see a guy getting in a car. If you move fast – get as close as possible and try to shoot the driver window. If you are lucky – the chase will be over right away. If you are not that lucky – get in the car and go after him. This can turn into a long ride because cops will also go after you. But, you can use them as your allies because cops do not like you as much as they do not like the bad guys in the car you’re going after. Anyway, do your best to kill the guy. If you fail and carry on – this achievement will be missed. So, when you are notified that the guy has gone away – press the “Pause” and restart the mission.

The Mafia Never Forgets (10)
Pay a visit to an old friend.
This is story related and can’t be missed. You will come to this part at the beginning of Chapter 14.
Things can’t go the other way so now you need to get rid of feds by driving like a maniac, taking long winding roads and using other tricky ways to get those off your tail. When you’re done – take Joe to a way point and drop him off. Change your clothes too as far as you are still wanted. Head to the docks afterwards.

Out for Justice (30)
Learn what it means to be a Scaletta.
This is story related and can’t be missed. Chapter 14.
Also, you can rely on the dock workers: they won’t win the fight but they will definitely help you out with killing off Steve outside the ware house. If you still are low on cash – rob gun shops to a big payoff.

DLC: Jimmy's Vendetta
Cost: 800 MSP Achievements: 10 Points: 250
First Step (10)
Complete your first mission in "Jimmy's Vendetta."
Jimmy’s Vendetta is sort of a side line of the story that you can play. This is not a part of the Main Story and you can get to it whenever you want. You will start in a prison and while the other inmates are rioting – you get a perfect opportunity to escape. You will still have to fight some guards but that shouldn’t be hard. Use the old fashioned strategy: dodge and counterattack. After winning the fights, proceed through to the laundry room and it will trigger a cut scene. Achievement unlocked.

Faster than Light (10)
Achieve a 10x point multiplier in "Jimmy's Vendetta."
You multiplier gets higher with every destruction or kill you make. You can get it the natural way but it might take some time or you can get it pretty fast by doing this:
- Start any mission after the prison break;
- Take out your shotgun;
- Shoot the gas tank on 10 vehicles before your multipliers run out;
This will get you 10+ quickly. Very simply, don’t you find? After that you can either finish the mission or die and restart it. The video guide is not that great but to give you a general idea will work just fine.

Explorer (10)
Drive a total of 1,000 miles in vehicles in "Jimmy's Vendetta."
This is rather a boring achievement but you might get it through your natural progression, especially if you play and drive in cars a lot. There are lots of ways to unlock this achievement: you can drive and enjoy the city, you can get on track and drive about 250 laps or even ask someone to drive this for you. However, there is a method that does not require you to drive at all. I am not saying that it will work for sure but you can try it and if it does – you will need about 24 hours to get things done. You need to find a particular store and drive through the shop window. The game will get glitchy and you will start spinning nonstop. You can now leave your console for as much hours as you can and this will automatically add lots of miles to your profile.

Armament King (10)
Kill your enemies in "Jimmy's Vendetta" with every weapon available in the game.
Killing enemies with every weapon available in the game will take some time and not because there are not enough people but because finding some of the items won’t be easy. In order for it to count, you will have to perform at least ONE KILL on an ENEMY. Civilians won’t count which is kind of sad. Here’s the list of weapons you need to have and the list of shops where you can get those. Keep in mind: some of these weapons can be picked up off dead enemies.
Normal Shops – can be found all over the map and are marked with a handgun icon. If you are not into buying – kill the shop owner and take the guns for free.
Harry's Shop – can be found on the top left of the map in Kingston and is marked with a machine gun icon.
Giuseppe's Shop – can be found near the middle of the map in Little Italy and is marked with lockpicks icon.
Machine Guns (Up on D-Pad):
- Thompson M1A1 – it is not sold in shops but can be obtained in combats (some enemies carry them) or after killing cops when you have a 4 star wanted level. Also, “In the "GAI Truck” carjacking mission one of the soldiers guarding the truck will be holding a Thompson M1A1. Kill him and get the gun.
- Thompson 1928 (Harry's Shop)
- MP40 (Harry's Shop)
- Grease Gun (Harry's Shop)
- .38 SMG (Harry's Shop)
Handguns (Right on D-Pad):
- Magnum (Harry's Shop) (Giuseppe's Shop) (Normal Shops)
- 1911 Special (Giuseppe's Shop)
- 1911 Semi (Normal Shops)
- C96 Pistol (Harry's Shop)
- .38 Revolver (Normal Shops)
Shotgun/Rifles (Down on D-Pad):
- Shotgun (Harry's Shop) (Normal Shops)
- M1 Garand (Harry's Shop) (Normal Shops)
- Kar98 Rifle (Harry's Shop)
Throwables (Left on D-Pad):
- Grenade (Harry's Shop) – when using it, make sure that the grenade you throw kills a person and not just explodes a car that kills a person.
- Molotovs (Giuseppe's Shop)
Firebug (10)
Destroy 100 vehicles in "Jimmy’s Vendetta."
You can unlock this achievement using different methods but at the end your task is still to destroy 100 vehicles.
1. Standard. Just find a proper place with lots of cars and start blowing them up. Shoot cars at the gas tanks – this will blow them up instantly.
2. Easy. Before you start the second mission, go to the two special gun shops and pick up grenades and Molotov cocktails. Start the second mission > progress on it but do not use any grenades or cocktails > finish the mission > after the second mission where you have to destroy the cars you will spawn across the street by the docks > start throwing grenades under cars (shooting at the tanks will also work). When you are out of grenades –press start and load the last checkpoint > when it loads up you will still have all the cars that you blew up and all the cocktails and grenades will be back to full. Repeat the procedure for a couple of times and when you blow up the 100th car – you will get your achievement.
3. Crazy. This will take some time but can turn into a beautiful performance. All you have to do is to start parking cars close one to each other and gather at least 100 of those. Now, pick grenades and start throwing them at the cars. If cars are parked close enough, this should start a chain reaction and rather sooner than later you will get your achievement.
Sharpshooter (10)
Kill 100 enemies by headshots in "Jimmy's Vendetta."
This can be done during natural progression or you can try to do the following which is both fun and entertaining. Go south to the docks. This is a perfect place because what happens in docks – stays in docks. They are pretty far from the street and cops do not appear here often. Start walking down the docks shooting at the dock workers. This will make them run to the end of the dock. Pretty soon they will appear trapped and duck down. From this point it is a lot easier to illuminate them with headshots. Get back to your first spot and wait for the workers to spawn. Repeat the trick until you get 100 headshots. You do not have to make them run to the end of docks but it is kind of fun to watch them running away from you. Also, do not forget to keep an eye on ammo.
Carnapper (50)
Finish all Car Dealer missions in "Jimmy's Vendetta."
As a matter of fact – this is kind of an easy achievement. Your task is to complete all Car Dealer missions which is 12. They will be marked on your map with a little car. Missions themselves happen to be pretty easy too: pick a car and bring it to the garage. Here’s what you need to do:
Mission 1: Shubert pickup
Mission 2: Smith Coupe
Mission 3: Gas truck
Mission 4: Shubert Beverly
Mission 5: Shubert hearse
Mission 6: Military truck GAI 353
Mission 7: Berlkey Kingfisher
Mission 8: Jefferson Provincial
Mission 9: Potomac Indian
Mission 10: Walker Rocket
Mission 11: Police bus
Mission 12: Ascot Bailey
Revenged (100)
Finish "Jimmy's Vendetta" on any difficulty level.
The task is pretty simple: you need to finish all 30 missions of “Jimmy’s Vendetta” on any difficulty. Logically, the harder the difficulty – the better the game. The last mission you are supposed to complete is when you have to kill the Judge. It might be pretty tough but, as always, we have a nice method for you: keep going up the dirt road > reach a parking lot > turn left there on a dirt walkway. You’ll end up behind everyone.
Millionaire (20)
Earn 1,000,000 points in "Jimmy's Vendetta."
You can either gather the whole million of points but doing stuff or you can enjoy the glitch in the game and get it in 3 or 4 hours by doing nothing. It also can be left over the night. Remember: you need to get 1,000,000 million points total in your city score. The very same strategy can be used to unlock the “Explorer” achievement but in that case it will require about 24 hours. But if you go for “Explorer,” you should definitely get the “Millionaire”. Here’s the spot you need to go to.

Massacre (20)
Kill 1,000 enemies in "Jimmy's Vendetta."
You can get this naturally through the game progression or you can boost it with another interesting method. But you need to remember that these have to be either cops, enemies or dock workers. Killing pedestrians and regular citizens won’t count. One of the best spots to kill enemies is believed to be “The Don” mission located at the docks.
In the mission make your way through the enemies leading up to Big Sal. At the first sight it might look that enemies spawn constantly but they don’t. Keep killing them and move forward. Lots of your opponents will run to a predetermined spot before they try to attack you. You can use their determined strategy to your advantage and pick them off as they run past. Using machine guns will be very useful: keep tapping Left Trigger rapidly on distant targets and this will help you to avoid close combats and getting hurt. This helped me to get to Big Sal in less than 5 minutes and I killed about 70 or so guys depending on where I went. When Sal is dead, start running back and once you get to the 3 tankers, your enemies will start spawning behind you. Take a few of them and let the others kill you. This will help you to avoid the rest of them running back to the safe zone. Keep repeating the strategy and in an hour or so you should get the achievement.
DLC: Joe's Adventures
Cost: 800 MSP Achievements: 10 Points: 250
What Witness? (10)
Finish the Witness level in "Joe's Adventures."
The Witness level happens to be the first mission in “Joe’s Adventure”. Your task is more than simple: get from point to point, shoot bad guys and chase the witness in the end. You might wanna try to kill him by pushing of the edge into the ice lake as far as this will unlock the “Arctic Grave” achievement. For more information you can check out the video from the "Arctic Grave" achievement.
Arctic Grave (20)
Push the chief witness into the ice lake in "Joe's Adventures."
This is not story related and can be missed. You will come to the point of completing this achievement the way you need near the end of your very first mission on the ice lake. Your task is to chase the bad guy in a car and push him into the ice lake. Well, because of the ice and weather as well as the witness driver, things will get tricky. The best way to do that is to level with him and push his car into the water. This might take long because your car goes very slow while pushing his car sideways. However, there is an amazing alternative and all you have to do is to block his car or just make it stop. Get outside, grab the witness out of his vehicle and just keep pushing him to the edge. He won’t fight you back because he is too scared. But, he will try to run away. Just do everything fast and when you push him over the edge into the water – the poor things will die and you will get your achievement. Check out the video below to see how it looks in action.

Dockyard Discord (20)
Finish the Connection level in "Joe's Adventures."
Start the mission and complete it. Your task is to clear the docks from the bad guys and figure out what is going on.

Five Finger Discount (30)
Finish the Supermarket level in "Joe's Adventures."
Supermarket mission includes lots of driving and visiting a plenty of locations. Before you get to the final “Supermarket,” you will have to do all the little missions on the map. After you do complete a certain number of those, there will appear a dinner sign on the bottom left of the map called “supermarket.” You need to go there and rob the place. It won’t be easy because you are going to be dragged into a very long battle. Escape in a car and drive to the safe zone. When you are safe and rich – the pop up message should appear on your screen.
Mind the Goods (40)
Finish the Cathouse level in "Joe's Adventures."
This is story related and can’t be missed. But in order to play the mission you will have to complete no less than 78% of the whole story. Ye, it will take some time but if you are playing Joe’s Adventure it already means that you enjoy the game very and very much. As for the mission itself – it is pretty straightforward. Shoot the enemies > move forward > wait for the reinforcement > shoot them > move forward. Do not forget to take cover while killing the bad guys. When you get to the end – there will be a cut scene. After is you will appear inside of the warehouse and, again, keep killing your enemies by moving forward slowly. If you are running low on health – look around on the tops of some crates and there will be sandwiches. Some of those will also contain guns and ammo. From time to time, here and there, the guys with body armor will be approaching you. Simply aim for their heads and this will save you time and ammo. As far as Cathouse level is the last mission in Joe’s Adventure, once you complete it you will also get the achievement “Same Shirt Different Day”.
Same Shirt Different Day (50)
Finish Joe's Adventures on any difficulty.
Your task is simple: progress through “Joe’s Adventure” and complete it on any difficulty. The harder the difficulty – the longer it will take for you to come to the finish line. However, this achievement does not require you to finish it on harder difficulties, so you can just stick to the Easy and things will work great too.
Hypersonic (20)
Reach 2000 points for one velocity run in "Joe's Adventures."
You can attempt to unlock this achievement the regular way but it will take a lot of time and won’t be that fun. We are practical people and we know the real value of the time which means – there is always a plan for every achievement in the list. So, here’s how it’s going to look like:
- Complete the “Supermarket Mission”;
- Check the map and you will see two side missions for Rocco;
- Drive to the one that is to the very left on your map (in the south section of the map). It is called “Bet on That”;
- Obviously, start the mission;
- For the first part of the mission you follow the guy on foot, then in a car;
- Get to the place where he stops (the guy) and kill all the enemies;
- Grab his car which is Delizia Grandeamerica;
- Drive to the safe zone to finish the mission.
As you’ve probably guessed, from the mission above we were looking forward to get the car – Delizia Grandeamerica. When you are safe and saved, get your newly obtained car to the closest repair service and upgrade it to the maximum which is Level 3. To actually gain the points you will need to start a mission. Choose the one closer to the highway. For instance, Wheels of Evidence will work just great. Plus, if something happens and you accidently die or screw up the car – you will spawn at the checkpoint which will give you an opportunity to start the mission and attempt to unlock the achievement again. Once you’re done preparing, head to the start of the highway close to the big bridge > start driving down the long straight road along the river. Now, it’s all about time and your speed. The faster you go – the faster you are going to get the achievement. Try to stay in the middle of the road – this will give you a perfect opportunity for maneuvering. Also, use you horn – this will make drivers to get out of the way giving you a green light. You may have to go around the first turn but just slow down a little bit and you should be fine. When you gain 2000+ points – do not forget to slow down and save them. Otherwise – you will be forced to replay the game.

Jacked Jumper (20)
Reach 200 points for one Jump in "Joe's Adventures."
Open your map and find the bar icon on the very right of North Millville. Drive your car there and take the second turn on the road that ends with a blind alley. The best jumping-off place is located in the railway area. It’s really hard to describe so just take a look at the video and you will find what you need. Also, do not forget to upgrade your car to the maximum before you go for this achievement. This can be done in any repair store.

Driftin' Daddy-O (20)
Reach 200 points for one Drift in "Joe's Adventures."
It won’t be hard to unlock this achievement as long as you follow some rules. First of all, you will need a car. You can attempt to complete this achievement while driving a regular one but I am not sure if that will work. I, personally, used Smith Thunderbolt with all the possible upgrades. With this car you won’t even have to do anything. Of course, it would be very nice of you to find a proper place for this kind of activity but drifting in a park or in any other area that seems to be wide enough will work too. Here’s a video that will give you the idea of what you need to do.

Jack of all Trades (20)
Reach 10 different score actions in one mission in "Joe's Adventures."
Here’s a list of things you might wanna try to complete during the mission:
1. Drift - using car
2. Velocity - using car
3. Jump - using car
4. Vehicular Kill - using car
5. Explosive Kill - using grenade
6. Burning Kill - using molotov
7. Kill - using any weapon (not a headshot)
8. Headshot - using any weapon
9. Melee Kill - using fists
10. Demolition - explode any car
To unlock this achievement you will have to reach 10 different score actions in one mission in "Joe's Adventures." This is not as bad as it sounds but even if it does to you – we have an amazing guidance to help you out. So, here’s what you need to do:
- You can try to attempt completing this achievement on the first mission by Joe's Apartment;
- Strangely, a non-upgraded car with fairly standard speed will work too but I would still recommend to get to the repair store and upgrade one to the maximum;
- Do not forget to buy grenades at Harry's and Molotovs at Giuseppe's;
Now, as for the mission and achievement itself:
- Start the mission;
- Follow the red line and perform a Drift at the turn into the yard;
- Gun it and follow the line straight – this will give you a few Velocity points;
- Hit the ramp for a Jump;
- After landing – turn left and get a Vehicular Kill on one of the enemies;
- Spin the car and hop out behind it;
- There will be three enemies: kill all of them and prepare to fight three more that will appear in no time after you destroy the cars.
You can complete the next four in whatever order you find comfortable:
- Go for Explosive Kill using grenade;
- Go for Burning Kill using your Molotov;
- Go for Regualr Kill using firearm but shooting in the body and not in the head;
- Perform a Headshot;
- Melee Kill (the best timing for this one is to do it on the last of the first 3 enemies before destroying the cars. This is a guarantee that none else will attack you);
- Go inside and blow up the cars for Demolition;
- Go outside and get other score actions you didn't get on the first 3 enemies;
- Hit the safe zone for the achievement.
By all means, you can unlock this achievement whatever you like. This is just an example to give you a general idea of how to get this achievement. And: Be Sure To Finish Your Mission! Otherwise – it won’t count.

- Try to stay in cover as much as possible. Usually, shooting missions do not have time limitations which means you can take time to think about your next move and further strategy. But you also need to remember that smart enemies can flank you. Choose only solid and tough covers, otherwise you might get killed with the first bullet shower;

- Choose a fast car (Roller GL will work great);
- Get to the bridge;

Before you get to it – here’s a number of Playboy magazines you can find in every chapter.

Chapter 14.
Also, you can rely on the dock workers: they won’t win the fight but they will definitely help you out with killing off Steve outside the ware house.

- Start any mission after the prison break;
- Take out your shotgun;
- Shoot the gas tank on 10 vehicles before your multipliers run out;
This will get you 10+ quickly.

- Complete the “Supermarket Mission”;
- Check the map and you will see two side missions for Rocco;
- Drive to the one that is to the very left on your map (in the south section of the map). It is called “Bet on That”;
- Obviously, start the mission;
- For the first part of the mission you follow the guy on foot, then in a car;
- Get to the place where he stops (the guy) and kill all the enemies;
- Grab his car which is Delizia Grandeamerica;

- You can try to attempt completing this achievement on the first mission by Joe's Apartment;
- Strangely, a non-upgraded car with fairly standard speed will work too but I would still recommend to get to the repair store and upgrade one to the maximum;
- Do not forget to buy grenades at Harry's and Molotovs at Giuseppe's;
Now, as for the mission and achievement itself:
- Start the mission;
- Follow the red line and perform a Drift at the turn into the yard;
- Gun it and follow the line straight – this will give you a few Velocity points;
- Hit the ramp for a Jump;
- After landing – turn left and get a Vehicular Kill on one of the enemies;
- Spin the car and hop out behind it;
- There will be three enemies: kill all of them and prepare to fight three more that will appear in no time after you destroy the cars.
You can complete the next four in whatever order you find comfortable:
- Go for Explosive Kill using grenade;
- Go for Burning Kill using your Molotov;
- Go for Regualr Kill using firearm but shooting in the body and not in the head;
- Perform a Headshot;
- Melee Kill (the best timing for this one is to do it on the last of the first 3 enemies before destroying the cars. This is a guarantee that none else will attack you);
- Go inside and blow up the cars for Demolition;
- Go outside and get other score actions you didn't get on the first 3 enemies;
- Hit the safe zone for the achievement.
By all means, you can unlock this achievement whatever you like. This is just an example to give you a general idea of how to get this achievement. And: Be Sure To Finish Your Mission! Otherwise – it won’t count.
