Xbox 360 Master of Puppets

I went over to a friend's house yesterday to celebrate Christmas with them, since I'll be with family today and tomorrow. While I was over there, I got to play their copy of Guitar Hero: Metallica. I did okay for the most part, until it came time to play Master of Puppets. I had a REALLY hard time with this song. Has anyone else here played GH: Metallica and had issues with this song? Can anyone offer any tips?

I've never been a very good Guitar Hero guitar player. I think each Guitar Hero has cheats, but I don't know if you'll want to use them or not. Short of using cheats, the only thing I can tell you is that you'll get better with practice. Good luck!

This is one of the tougher songs in the game, but my advice is to work on your alternate strumming and fast chording. You don't want to be down-strumming only; alt strum to the rhythm of the song. The solo is fairly tough, so have some star power on hand if you're not good with solos.

Well, tips.. it's just a difficult song so you have to practice it. I'm sure Kirk and James didn't compose this while they were sleeping either.
