Xbox One Metacritic hate?

If you look at user scores on Metacritic, plenty of PS4 games have an about 8.0 user rating, yet only two Xbox One games even have a rating over 7.5 (and none 8 of over) Why is this? Is the Xbox One this hated? Is the PS4 really so much better? What's up with this?

The PS4 is perceived as the leading console right now and I think that this influences the ratings some XBox One games get. Console fans are pretty vocal, we see plenty of contradictory discussions about what console has the best graphics for a certain game and this also influences the ratings.

I completely agree, you, Industry leaders have some power to dictate certain market place decisions, and this is definitely the case here, Sony can influence rating on Xbox One titles...
