4A Games and Deep Silver have remastered their post-apocalyptic shooters Metro: Last Light and Metro 2033 for release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this summer.

Both remastered and updated games will be available separately as $24.99 digital downloads under the new titles Metro 2033 Redux and Metro: Last Light Redux. For players new to the franchise, I’d recommend the physical boxed version which will retail for $49.99.

the concept/trailer looks nice but till i see real gameplay im stlil in the air. still nice to see another game in the near future.

The trailer is awsome. I played metro 2033 and it was really good. If this one is as good as 2033 it will be a very good game for XBOX one

Another 8th gen treatment? Hmm, I don't know what to say. I've already played them so what are the new things that are going to warrant another purchase? I think it's pointless since it's a multiplatform game that everyone got to play last time. There's really no purpose for a re-release other than for graphical improvements.

Meh, I own the original releases and I haven't even played them. I don't care enough to re buy them before I even play the originals.

Graphically it looks really good, time will only tell if the game will be worth it in the end. So many games nowadays show such promise, and then the next thing you know they're in the bargain bin only a couple months after release.
