Xbox One Microsoft and Crackdown 2 Developer Teasing Game Reveal

Microsoft and Crackdown 2 developer Ruffian Games are teasing a game reveal later today. Vice president of Microsoft Studios Phil Spencer revealed on Twitter that a new announcement was on the way, with his sentiments being echoed by Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb.

While it could be pretty much anything, the obvious hope for most people is that Crackdown 3 is finally about to be revealed. There was hope that an announcement was imminent after a familiar logo was spotted during the Xbox One reveal event, though this later turned out to be a false alarm. When we spoke to Phil Spencer at E3 last year though, he was adamant the series wasn't dead.

Well regardless of what game this ends up being this is exciting. It's great to have more exclusives revealed before the onslaught of announcements that will be at E3. I will be sure to update this thread as we get more information so be sure to comeback!

I guess whatever they are cooking right now will be really great. I just hope they could give us a hint of what it is exactly.

We'll see what it's all about in the next few months. If it turns out to be Crackdown 3..... Saints Row IV better have something awesome in future DLCs :-D

Yeah, I hope so. I hope that this project of theirs really pushes through unlike other games that were previously announced and eventually turned down.
