Let's be real, the pre-launch period for the Xbox One didn't exactly go that smoothly. I'm among the people who weren't happy about the DRM and always-online inclusion. Well especially always-online. But for the most part Microsoft has done a great job of writing that ship and the future looks pretty bright. In this article Microsoft talks about that period and really gets in depth about what the future is, with series like Halo, what's happening with the Kinect (because it does need good games that aren't just Just Dance), they also talk about the PS4, and of course all the delays we've seen from launch titles. It's a pretty good read for fans of the console.

Microsoft talks alot

Well, that's good to know. At least Microsoft did the right thing and changed what they can. At least they didn't end up in despair when they did launch. Sweet indeed.

It was a nice read. Honestly I was hoping for some sort of official addressing of the current issues and plans to iron them out.
Not just a canned PR driven response, but something meaningful.

I love my XB1 and I can't see myself going to Sony any day soon (honestly, playing the PS4 for 20+ hours so far, I'm not impressed and would rather not game if for some reason I did have a 'loss of love' with my XB1) - but I want to see changes, fixes and continual communication. If I were rich, I'd get them a PR team worth a sugar-coated turd.

Nice. At least Microsoft did some good with their addressing. As long as they keep it cool and do their best to improve their thing with the XB1, then I'm cool with it.

I hope they can communicate with the game developers about our issues with the games.

Let's hope they do. Hate it when some games will have issues but then they're never addressed in the months to come.

That's one thing that I want changed on Xbox One. They have games (BF4 for example) who still has issues and they keep on releasing patches that doesn't really resolve anything but keeps opening more issues.

Yeah, I agree. they have to fix things before they release a new patch/ update.

This is what everyone has been pointing out from the start. Microsoft should keep a close watch at all comments to make sure that their customers are satisfied.
