I believe this wasn't streamed and was private which was unfortunate, but luckily for us, someone recorded the conference. It might get taken down for whatever reason, so if you want to check out the Gamescom 2013 Microsoft conference, you can check it out at Gamespot!

Just thought I'd share with you guys, I still have to watch the conference as well.

Is it still on i'm on my phone so i can't currently view it if its on i might get on my computer, is it going to be on youtube? and how has it been so far?

Nice, going to watch is as soon as i get back from work, i hope that it doesn't get taken down until then.
Also, i wonder why Microsoft decided to be a private conference and not livestream it.

It was a good short conference that got to the point and did not mess around at all. That FIFA bundle thing will be HUGE in europe make no mistake. And they even said they will have more bundles to announce at a later date, so USA may get a bundle of our own. But THAT was a good conference and it was only 35 min. Thats how you do it

Thanks fr the link mate. I was searching for the conference everywhere before realizing that they haven't held the public conference this year.

I love Phil Spencer's reason for doing this:

"I guess I just have a fundamental belief that gamers buy games consoles to play games, and they don't buy them for press events. We're going to lead with the content that we think gamers want - and all of the people on stages, myself included, that's just part of a show."

That is dead on. And it's why Nintendo didn't do one at E3 this year. Why set yourself up for internet console warriors to make gifs and crap on everything little mistake you make on stage.

i have to laugh at the demographic in that room.. i see one guy on the far left that looks in his 20's the rest look 40's

with an many recorders/videocamers this was bound to be published.

i think we are going to be flooded by mindles indie games tho.. everyone will think they are a developer.. and i think that sucks.. its not an app/iphone/android its a powerful console.

i like the fable legends trailer its quit cinimatic and dont think the game will look that good. i could be wrong but cinmatics dont relate to gameplay. but i did enjoy fable3 so im sure it will be a good game.
i would like to see the demo that was on the floor with the gamplay.

fighter within look like a decnt game but again its cinimatics not gameplay.

the division: game looks soooo sweet. i still think it will be game of the year in 2014 when it releases. its already got 38 awards and nominated for 74... i think it will be the true first true next gen game with smartglass, kinect, controler, multiplayer all worked out well.. battlefeild4 has a shot and being in that catagory as well.. imo. you can tell microsoft is backing this game and wants as much content exclusive to it as possible.

EXACTLY! When I heard that I was like "THATS HOW ITS DONE!" But you are right, I mean Nintendo needs to step something's up but why take the stage to be hounded by childish things. And it was a VERY good respond back. There games, console, and just environment of FUN is doing the talking. They have for sure got me more excited than every before.
