Xbox One Microsoft Reveals First ID@Xbox Titles

Microsoft has announced two of the first games planned for release under its new self-publishing ID@Xbox program. Microsoft Studios boss Phil Harrison revealed on Twitter that a new, unnamed Worms title would be coming to the console along with a version of Nutjitsu, which is already available for Windows Phone.

Though we don't know much about the Worms game, which is presumably being created by franchise veterans Team 17, Nutjitsu is on the way from Ninjabee, the creator of the Kefling titles on Xbox Live Arcade. The top-down maze game is reminiscent of Pac-Man, though you're in control of a squirrel ninja and tasked with retrieving acorns from evil foxes.

Not the most exciting of reveal by any means, but its nice to see the program chugging along. Given the late reveal of the ID program I'm sure much better games will be along soon enough and are only being delayed due to a late start on the console. I've never been a Worms fan and have no knowledge of Nutjitsu, so other than my lack excitement I really have nothing to say about either game. How do you guys feel about the announcement? Have you played Nutjitsu previously on Windows Phone? Let us know in the comments!
 
Hmmmm.... I was hoping for something intriguing but hey, at least Xbox One is getting something. Anyway, these aren't ALL the indie titles so there's definitely something more as we go along.
 
A bit disappointing. I was hoping they'd have something more intriguing than these games we know already appeared elsewhere. Okay, no, let me rephrase that: I was hoping for the kind of indie games that really makes you go, "Wow". But nah, these two games didn't do it for me.

Same here. I was really hoping as well. but hey, at least we know they're gonna make some indie titles. This is not yet the full list so let's wait on and see what else they got.

Yeah, they should. So far, we've yet to hear any good Japanese games to come to the XB1. In fact, have there been any Japanese Xbox One games right now? Not yet. We'll have to wait and see if they'll be coming.
 
Cool. I'm up for some cool japanese games. I never get tired playing the games that these guys made since they all have unique story lines and the characters that they make all the time is really interesting.

Niether games announced are from Japanese developers though. Indies are usually American companies. What Japanese games are you referring to?

KN1GHTMARE's right. There hasn't been announcement for any indie Japanese games at the moment. Most of them are getting some development on Sony and Nintendo. And yeah, what Japanese games are you referring to?
 
i dont think worms to a bad first batch of indie/small games. worms as a whole had a decent calling in the pc world back in the day and i think the nostalgia factor.. as long as the price i set low enough i tihnk it could cove some decent numbers..

it may be a port but i hope they do a HD release n the xb1..

i think it could be a ton of fun for quick party game.. the forum could even do a bracket game night tournament. itso ne of those games that u can get serious about but till is hillarious to play.

I'm looking for some RPG games to be honest. Some new titles, it wouldn't hurt to see new fighting games as well.
