A very interesting article at CVG has a short interview with Microsoft's Xbox Director, Albert Panello, that I found very interesting. In the article they discuss the possibility of bringing back the now infamous 'Family Sharing' ability briefly mentioned during the early days of the Xbox One reveal. For those of us not aware of the details, it was a feature that would enable us to share digital games with up to 10 family and friends. While Microsoft never got very specific, it got many of us very excited.
Panello goes on to say:
I hope this is something they take great haste to implement once the console hits the store shelves. I'm sure with the loss of the 'always on DRM', it will be much hard to implement, but there's stilll hope. I would love to expand my library buy sharing games with my friends, like intended!

Panello goes on to say:
"I get a lot of mails saying 'god, please bring back the family sharing.' We'd love to figure out how to bring that back. I still think it was a good idea. Maybe it was a little too soon for some people, but I still think there were a lot of good ideas in there. And we'll bring it back when the time is right."
