Then why are you asking if Minecraft can run on a netbook? Most likely they won't, they're pretty weak and most likely even have issues rendering the desktop. You're better off buying a laptop.

Maybe...but I doubt you'd get it running smoothly. There'd be a lot of lag. Netbooks aren't made for gaming.
If you have an iPad or iPod just get the app version -- it's pretty good.
