Xbox One Mirror's Edge and the Rift?

Not sure if anyone has heard of it but there's this amazing virtual reality technology coming out called The Rift. It's built to go over the eyes and make you feel as if you're standing in the game. They revealed that Mirror's Edge 2 was going to be built with the Rift in mind but it seems to be geared more towards PC.
If the Rift was made available for Xbox One would you considering buying one? If so, do you think it would have any effect on the way you played Mirror's Edge 2?
 
well considering how many people were complaining about motion sickness in the first game I doubt having a VR headset will exactly help their situation, who knows though I'm personally really excited for it. I just hope that the hype lives up.

As for it the oculus rift coming to next gen consoles it isn't looking too good as the main dude behind it says they're too limited to what they want to do (http://www.techradar.com/news/gamin...r-too-limited-for-what-we-re-planning-1198420) so either microsoft/sony really really like what they see when the oculus rift is released (hopefully next year) and toss money his way too help him "change his mind" or they get greedy and decide to just make their own products cause that's kinda what they do....Anyway I'm super interested to see if the oculus rift can do what it thinks it can. If it does then that combined with the omni could give us a very interesting future in gaming and esports
 
Hell yeah of course. I'd love to buy one, to feel the sensation of doing parkour. I play a lot of games these days and that awesome feeling of seeing the game world in your own eyes always goes in my ind. Definitely would love to play Oculus Rift with Mirror's Edge 2!
 
I haven't tried or seen the game, can someone post maybe a trailer of the game that way I can gauge if it's worth buying.

Same here. But I guess I'll get used to it, just like when I first played Counter Strike. I got dizzy as hell.
 
Sounds good with that new technology but I was going to buy the game anyway. haha
It's just one more reason to be excited for it!
 
Well, perhaps they're working on a second edition of the game which is made for the Rift?
 
I would buy it if i could see the game through the eyes of the character!
Would make every game better!
But however, if you are scared of heights, this game could be scary for you xD
 
Mirrors edge is a great game. And i think bringing it to this kind of system would be great to see.
