Honestly, I'm starting to respect Microsoft now. All the news is great so far, and they have aced every single thing ever since E3. It may seem normal that there will be more games and exclusives when time goes on, but they're starting to make good decisions now, the exclusives TBA in the future are major franchises like FIFA so I would expect exclusives with much more game quality. I'm very excited for the future of Microsoft, and I can't wait until Gamescom. Let's see how much they've changed and improved since E3.

Microsoft's Gamescom event certainly wasn't without its highlights - top of the list are (1) the revelation that every European Xbox One pre-order will ship with a copy of FIFA 14, and (2) the announcement of Fable Legends, an online-only, co-op Fable in which one player stars as the villain. There's more to reveal, however.

After their conference was done they sureley do have some amazing things coming to the X1 other than the PS4 has to offer :p Its going to be a great day when we get ours and FOR AURE within the first 12 months with TITANFALL and Quantum Break and allt he others.

So, where is the Microsoft's game conference? They didn't even hold the conference publicly this year. On the contrary, Sony just nailed it with this conference as well. They just announced more than 15 new games yesterday. That's insane!

The new Fable game sounds interesting. The Fable franchise definitely had it's ups and downs with Fable 3 being a let down ,but they seem to have some very cool ideas with the new one. I'm interested to see how it will work out since it's online only, I think that the Fable games have always been best played in co-op , but it's not been very well developed, but it looks like this time round they have to get it right.

They held a private event. And no offense...those "`15" games are ALL indie games that are in the launch window. Indie games are great...but those are what doesnt sell a console. Thats what their whole conference was about, indies...indies...and indies. They didnt even talk about any new launch titles. Just the same 4 we have been hearing about non-stop since the reveal in Feb. From what I have seen on twitter and Kotaku....even the hardest of Sony fans were not happy. Plus it was funny how they took that pot shot at MSFT again. Its unfortuante they have to hype their console off of talking smack about the X1.

Because Microsoft totally hasn't done the same thing, right? Specially not recently by saying things like "all best games are on Xbox".

Let's just see how long the exclusive support for X1 lasts. I'm expecting it to be like the 360 with lots of exclusives early on and then... nothing. Didn't Titanfall already get announced for PC or something?

MSFT has...every company does. But doing it 2 times in a row VERY blatently and smirking about it, i dont think so. But is MSFT wrong? They have all the exclusives right now for launch while PS4 has....4? If you cant find a good game out of the 12 exclusives then....im at a lose for words. Unless you specifically like Killzone and Infamous, thats respectable. But im sure MSFT will supply these game more this time witht hat billion they coughed up lol. We still have games coming out in the first 1 2months. We got Black Tusk Studios teaser we got at E3 and that is only 1 of the 4 studios they ann. at E3 that are working on unnounced games. As for TitanFall yes that will be on PC, 360 and X1 but you still cant get it on PS4. This was all about consoles though, lol i never even put PC in the same ring becasue they alays come out on top lol.

I actually find both Sony and Microsoft to be kinda childish when they trash-talk each other. It's just dumb, but I guess they do it because it gets their fanbases crazy?

Anyway, the thing with the PS4 for me is that I really like Japanese games, and Japanese developers have prefered Playstation so far. For example, Nippon Ichi Software only released games on PS3 this generation, I doubt they will kill that trend. Arc System Works, which makes some of my favorite fighters, might also start only releasing their games on Playstation systems. Those 3rd parties are buying me over, basically! I'm not saying the Xbox One doesn't have good exclusives, just that the PS4 is better for me because it might get more Japanese games. I do like Sony's first party exclusives and indies, too, but they're not the main thing for me.

I'm not getting either console at launch, anyway. I'll wait a few years, which will give me a lot of time to decide. At the moment, the Xbox One has more exclusive (and pretty good ones), sure, but will it keep it up in the long run? I personally didn't feel like the 360 kept it up with exclusives in the long run even though it had a lot early on, so I want to wait and see if Microsoft will keep it up this time or not.

Understandable. :) Good to wait and see to see what you will like more

The thing is, the games that they announced ain't system sellers, just games to make up for the lack of software on their console. And all that exclusive crap from each side is just ridiculous, like if just a few useless cosmetic things would change someone's opinion on what console to buy.

Yeah I can definitely see where you're coming from OP as even though Microsoft still have a habit of making some pretty questionable decisions as of late, for the most part they are now doing a good job of turning things around. Let's just hope that they can keep up this streak of good will until the Xbox One is finally released later this year.

I think they will. They have for sure shown that they are commited this time. Nov. cant come soon enough!!!!

I don't think anyone is questioning the launch lineup (although somehow Sony is launching with Minecraft before the Xbox One) but Microsoft has just been tripping over itself since E3. That God they have Titanfall. It looks like they have CoD and Battlefield wrapped up too but Sony is getting Ubisoft and Bungie exclusive content which is huge too.

It can go both ways. We have BF4 only stuff. FIFA Stuff, and CoD stuff.
