Xbox One More Xbox One Rumors Incoming: Release Dates & Game Announcements

Certainly has been a long week for rumors huh? The week is not over yet and here we are with the largest grouping of rumors yet. Should all of these release dates prove to be true, 2014 will be a very busy year and a wallet breaking one as well. Granted with no actual validity to these reports yet, we best take them with a modest sized grain of salt. Now, entertaining the idea that the below information is fact, lets not forget the games mentioned don't account for the unknowns that may be reveals at E3. With Microsoft more than willing to prove they are ahead of Sony when it comes to exclusives, I wouldn't be surprised if these reports are not only true, but ut just scratching the surface of what's to come. Now we will have to wait and see how MSFT responds to these rumors, my guess is they will decline to comment as per usual.

The source claims that Halo 2 Anniversary is in the works for Xbox One and will be released on November 11 this year in two special editions. The first will be a standard Collector's Edition that comes with beta access to Halo 5 and a Halo TV series (not the one rumoured to be directed by Neill Blomkamp). The second is a War Collection, which supposedly comes with everything from the Collector's Edition as well as Xbox One ports of Halo 3 and Halo 4.

Elsewhere, the source claims that we're unlikely to see anything of Crackdown 3 this year but it's on the way, scheduled for release in 2016. A new Forza Horizon is meant to come autumn of this year, along with Sunset Overdrive, while Quantum Break will be out at Christmas.

2015 will allegedly see Fable Legends in summer and also the release of Halo 5 following beta in November 2014 (this is interesting, as last we heard Halo 5 was still on track for release this year). The insider also revealed that Black Tusk Studios will probably need two and a half years to produce a new Gears of War game, and the team's cancelled project was supposedly called "Shangheist". Titanfall DLC is meant to be coming 45 days after release, then another batch 120 days after release.

Seriously excitied about Fable Legends and Gears of war coming out. TitanFall is to be expected to have a DLC.

Me too. No need to get hyped up yet until they confirm the rumors. Sounds too good to be true. Anyway, I'll just get back into everyday life until they confirm or deny the rumors.

Exactly. Rumors are just rumors. Man, can't remember the last time I got pissed when a rumor wasn't true. THat's why nowadays, I just let it be until they confirm it. Even the best rumors are nothing more than smudged crap. We'll have to wait for the confirmation.
