An interesting, important, and perhaps most distinguishing factor of the Crysis series is the Nanosuit. With each Crysis game, this skin/armor is developed more and more thoroughly and does not leave much room for disappointment in the Crysis 3 multiplayer.

Upgrades for the Nanosuit are known as Suit Modules. You can equip various modules to adjust the attributes of your Nanosuit in order to better fit you particular style of play. To help with this, the modules are already classified as either “Armor, Stealth, or Power” modules. Each module is unlocked once you reach a certain rank in multiplayer. In addition, each module features upgrades within the module that you unlock by obtaining a certain amount of kills with the module equipped.

Let’s take a look at the Suit Modules that are available to you as well as how to unlock the full potential of each.

Auto Armor

Automatically activate armor when receiving damage. No upgrades

Type: Armor

Rank: 5​

Phantom

Heightens the ability of your stealth cloak

Type: Stealth

Rank: 5

Tier 1 = Increased transition speed when entering and leaving stealth mode

Tier 2 = No sound produced while entering stealth mode, unlocked after 200 kills from stealth

Tier 3 = Stealth shutdown time reduced while firing from stealth, unlocked after 500 kills from stealth​

Scout

Heightens your ability to locate enemies

Type: Stealth

Rank 5

Tier 1 = Displays enemy direction while the Maximum radar is active

Tier 2 = Single radar sweep on respawn, unlocked after 200 kills

Tier 3 = Displays enemy health bars above the enemy​

Proximity Alarm

Provides alerts when enemies are near.

Type: Stealth

Rank: 5

Tier 1 = Automatic warning when an enemy is near

Tier 2 = Increased warning frequency of nearby enemies, unlocked after 200 kills

Tier 3 = Maximum warning frequency of nearby enemies​

Heavy Weapon Pro

Enhances maneuverability with heavy weapons

Type: Power

Rank: 5

Tier 1 = Faster movement speed with alien or mounted weapons

Tier 2 = Interact with alien tech quicker, unlocked after 200 alien or mounted weapon kills

Tier 3 = Provides extra alien/heavy weapon ammo​

Weapon Pro

Increases your ability to handle weapons

Type: Power

Rank 5

Tier 1 = Reloading time is reduced

Tier 2 = Sights are aimed down more quickly, unlocked after 50 kills within 5 seconds of reloading

Tier 3 = Reduces weapon switch time, unlocked after 150 kills within 5 seconds of reloading.​

Point Fire Enhance

This enhances your ability to shoot without aiming down your sights.

Type: Power

Rank: 6

Tier 1 = Reduces hip fire spread by 15%

Tier 2 = Reduces hip fire spread by 20%, unlocked after 150 kills

Tier 3 = Reduces hip fire spread by 25%​

Hunter

Increases your ability to navigate the arena stealthily

Type: Stealth

Rank: 8

Tier 1 = Removes footstep and suit sounds when moving

Tier 2 = Uncloaked enemy footsteps will be visible on the ground, unlocked after 200 kills

Tier 3 = Directional updates for footsteps and extended trail range, unlocked after 500 kills​

Armor Transfer

Restores your armor upon enemy defeat.

Type: Armor

Rank: 10

Tier 1 = 10% restored armor

Tier 2 = 20% restored armor, unlocked after restoring 10000 armor points

Tier 3 = 30% restored armor​

Rapid Fire

Increases your ability to fire quickly.

Type: Power

Rank: 12

Tier 1 = 15 % increased fire rate

Tier 2 = 20% increased fire rate, unlocked after 200 kills

Tier 3 = 25% increased fire rate, unlocked after 500 kills​

Low Profile

Increases your ability to move undetected

Type: Stealth

Rank: 14

Tier 1 = Protects you from enemy maximum radar bonus

Tier 2 = Your heat signature will become hidden, unlocked after 150 kills with enemy maximum radar active

Tier 3 = Allows evasion of Alien Gunship targeting​

Ordinance Alert

Provides alerts of enemy activity.

Type: Armor

Rank: 16

Tier 1 = Highlights enemy R.E.X. charges

Tier 2 = Provides an alert when an enemy sights you

Tier 3 = Illustrates enemy bullet paths​

Maneuverability

Increases your ability to travel the stages

Type: Power

Rank: 18

Tier 1 = Faster movement speed

Tier 2 = Increased ledge grab and vault speed, unlocked after sprinting 10 km

Tier 3 = Removes fall damage, unlocked after sprinting 25 km.​

Surveillance

Increases your ability to keep track of enemy positions

Type: Stealth

Rank: 20

Tier 1 = Highlights enemies through your weapon scope

Tier 2 = Enemies are automatically tagged for the entire team when view through your weapon scope, unlocked after 200 kills or tag assists.

Tier 3 = Immunity to enemy tags​

Aim Enhance

Aim enhance reduces the recoil of your weapon.

Type: Power

Rank: 22

Tier 1 = 10% reduced recoil

Tier 2 = 20% reduced recoil, unlocked after 150 kills while aiming down sights

Tier 3 = 30% reduced recoil, unlocked after 350 kills while aiming down sights.​

Retrieve

Heightens the advantages of dog tags.

Type: Armor

Rank: 24

Tier 1 = Automatically collect enemy Dog Tags

Tier 2 = Reduces the number of Dog Tags required for bonus by 1, unlocked after 200 Dog Tag retrievals

Tier 3 = Increases the amount of time bonuses remain active, unlocked after 500 Dog Tag retrievals.​

Detonation Delay

Delays nearby grenade and R.E.X. charge detonation

Type: Armor

Rank: 26

Tier 1 = Delays the detonation

Tier 2 = Player is less affected by flashbangs, unlocked after delaying 100 enemy explosives

Tier 3 = Provides auto-defense against missiles​

Expanded Arsenal

Allows additional ammunition to be carried.

Type: Power

Rank: 28

Tier 1 = Replaces the secondary weapon with a second primary weapon

Tier 2 = Grants additional ammo for primary and secondary weapons, unlocked after 200 kills.

Tier 3 = Grants addition grenades to be carried​

XP Bonus

Provides an experience increase.

Type: Armor

Rank: 30

Tier 1 = 5% increased in-game XP

Tier 2 = 10% increased in-game XP, unlocked after gaining 200 extra XP

Tier 3 = 15% increased in-game XP, unlocked after gaining 500 extra XP
