The hardest murder to solve is your own.

For a trailer hop onto murdered.com, sorry would've linked it but can't right now.

Now, I know I'm really late for this (today being about three after the official announcement) but, it's a game with an interesting premise that will probably leave you searching for answers - literally. Now, there's an expected release in Q1 of 2014 but guess what? It's in development for current-gen consoles right now. Which means you'll be able to fire up your 360 and find out who the f**ker was that killed you.

Now, Square isn't divulging much information about the project (we don't even know whether this is third-party or in house development) but, there have been clues floating around the internet dropped by Square themselves. The biggest being the evidence room (murdered.com/evidence) which, upon inputting the correct password, you'll be given a download which contains this image:

All that is currently known is that the setting is Salem Massachusetts, the protagonist is most likely named Ronan O’Connor, and that he's probably already dead. Even though the company's being fairly tight-lipped about the game, it's likely that new information will be uncovered soon.

I think the game's going to be a great detective story but, with the protagonist being a ghost trying to find out who to have a grudge against, it's very hard to judge what the gameplay will be like with the information at hand.

So, what do you guys think? I'm excited just thinking about a new case to crack ^^

This game sounds awesome! I love a good murder mystery and can't wait to play this. The graphics look amazing as well. It will be interesting to see what powers/abilities you will have as a ghost and how these will be incorporated into solving the mystery.

Wow, a game about finding your OWN killer? That sounds very awesome, actually, and I'm really looking forward to it. Murder mysteries are interesting, even more so when you're the victim and investigator!

This sounds like a movie I saw once. Or is coming out soon. It does some like a cool, novel little concept though. That's for certain. It's nice to see the horror'ish genre of gaming pushing the envelope once more. Although I am sure the usual suspects will come out and bash this game as being bad for kids, or a bane to society blah blah, and all that. I may be wrong, but I doubt it.

Well, looks like i'l be saving again, may have to do some more research on this. Thanks for sharing.

Wait, you are solving a mystery murder when it is... heavy raining? :p

Looks gorgeous from the screenshots, can't wait to see it in action, looks promising for what it will try to do.

Well if you've been murdered then rain or shine you need to get to the bottom of who murdered you and why? That way, you can punish them in the afterlife.

I haven't played a misery puzzle game since the Sherlock Holmes series, so this game would be a welcomed addition to the genre.

The game sounds pretty good so far. I hope it delivers because it seems that this could be a hit.

Looks way cool, can't wait for an actual trailer. I hope it's not too linear. I like games with a lot of leeway, a lot of chances to make choices, to mess up, to take the story in a different direction. From the very little I know about this, I think it might have the potential to.
