Senior NFS producer discusses resolution, frame rate and general capabilities.
"That's been one of the joys of working with both next gen and Frostbite. Just turning it on, seeing what it could do. Normally the process that happens during development is that you turn everything up, see how it runs, then turn everything down. We've been turning everything up and up and up. So that's been one of the real joys of working with this, that as the authorisation's come in [from the manufacturer and Frostbite team], we've said 'oh hey, we can try to do this now'. Hopefully, you'll agree that it looks great on Xbox One. We're really proud of it, we think it's one of the best-looking games you'll see at launch."

Need for Speed: Rivals runs at 1080p and 30 frames a second on both next generation consoles.
"1080p is something that's really huge for us, we're really proud to be able to stand behind that - it gives it a massive visual fidelity. We'll see where we get to in future."
Keen also mentioned
"One of my favorites is when you're driving around in the desert at dawn, there's just this hugely evocative - I know we don't usually associate "evocative" with racing titles, but for me you get that sense of 'OK, that's what dawn in the desert looks like'"

The graphics seem really intense, and 1080p is a HUGE PLUS.
I would be extremely happy, if i get this diamond for Xmas for myself lol

EA is all about the 1080p and 30 fps. I'd much rather have 720 upscaled to 1080p if we could get 60 fps. That's what they are doing with the UFC game too. Nonetheless, this game really looks awesome. As long as it runs smoothly, all will be well. Forza looks outstanding too, but this game seems more my style of racing game.

I liked the Need for Speed: Underground series and others that had that same vibe for freedom instead of the linear A to B racing. Underground 2 was my favorite because they at least tried to give that atmosphere of night street racing where deals, bets, and the competition to become acknowledged was hectic.

Sure, the stories for these types of games may not be revolutionary, but when it comes to higher graphics and visualizations, they have to step up their game with better narratives. Because if it’s just going to make things look visually appealing, it will be the same process of winning the highest position that you can.

Hopefully people will have a T.V. that can really push those pixels though.

Can't wait for the release now!
Oh yeah, 1080p at your service. 30fps is good for me, although 60 sounds better - but still, game is extremely graphic, so seems like 30 is the only choice here
Got to get bunch of pizza boxes, beers and have an NFS night ahead.

we think it's one of the best-looking games you'll see at launch.

for sure!
The graphics are fascinating, as well as the gameplay.
And the 1080p adds some distinctive quality difference to the whole gaming process.
30fps just perfect
Thanks for the info

A huge HD tv is a must. for sure - only the owners of such tech can feel the beauty and all the capabilities of the X1
