According to recent statements from Criterion's new GM Matt Webster, the studio is targeting a June reveal for its next game.

The Burnout studio's new game remains completely under wraps, but speaking with IGN Webster express his desire to share more on the title around the time of the E3 expo, hosted in LA in June.

Well my hope is that we get Burnout Paradise 2 because I truly love that game. I wouldn't mind a new IP since those are always exciting. What do you guys want the to reveal? Sound off in the comments!

Burnout Paradise 2 please! Been playing Burnout Paradise Ultimate Edition last year (yeah, yeah I got into the game a little too late) and yes, it'd be nice to have a sequel. But a new IP would rock as well. Can't wait!

I haven't played Burnout Paradise for more than 30 minutes. I just had a quick play on it when I visited my cousin's house. He had the game, it was really enjoyable and the game play was really engaging. I really love the game and I hope they could bring out a sequel to it.

Same. I love it. It's the open-ended Burnout game we thought we never wanted but it still is. I played the previous Burnout games before and one thing I always wanted was it to be open-ended. Well, what do you know? Criterion made it open-ended. And I like that it's not restricted in the routes, so you can pretty much use a shortcut whenever you like. Awesome indeed. Hope to see what they got for all of us at E3.

I agree. The open-ended nature is one of the things that make Paradise awesome. It didn't occur to me until I did a few races. I realized that everytime I took a different route, I wasn't restricted. I didn't get hit by some invisible wall. I was given the choice to take a new route! So yes, awesome indeed. I hope Criterion can pull off another fantastic game. Sequel or new IP, this game is going to be awesome.

Well I too agree that Paradise was quite an interesting and cool game, I can't wait for a sequel.

Love Burnout and I love how they made the game. It was a bit boring at first but after a while I started liking it.

Yup, it's got a slow start at first. But like what thedoodseven said, the moment you begin doing more races, you'll realize that Criterion intentionally un-restricted the world so you decide how to get to your finish line. It's awesome! I hope Criterion can give us an awesome game like Paradise.

Really curious what this new game is going to be. Criterion could even make a sequel to Black (yup, that PS2 FPS game where it was all "shoot first, never ask questions") or another airboard game. Well, it can be anything hope it's awesome.

Now that I think about it... yeah. They did make their first FPS game. I loved the hell out of that game. I'm really curious what they can make here. A new Burnout or a new genre they never explored much? We shall see at E3.

Yeah, I'm definitely up for a sequel to Black. The supposed spiritual successor that was released a couple of years back wasn't worth it. Whatever it is, I hope it's a new franchise out of the racing genre. I'm curious to see what Criterion can do with other genres.

Burnout remains to be one of my favorite games. I do agree it takes a little while to get into the game but it is a great game overall and I really hope that they release a sequel.

Yes, a sequel to BLACK. Man, that was game was amazing. Criterion really broke the rules about what an FPS is supposed to be. That was really a game where all hell broke loose. Now I'd love to see the proper sequel to it, if that's Criterion;'s new game. If not, another Burnout is good enough for me. Or pretty much a genre that they feel they can re-energize with their energetic creativity.

Yup, agree. I hope they can still keep the open-ended part for the sequel. That's what made Paradise awesome! And I hope they make the map even bigger. And they gotta add even more hilarious stunt routes too. And more car-types!

Oh you really had to say it. Yes, make it bigger than ever. That would rock the world. And imagine the graphics! The power! Cannot wait to see a new Burnout. Or if's got to be, a new genre that they've explored.

I think Criterion said they were done with racing games so I wonder what the hell they're up to now.

Give us a BLACK sequel. Or maybe... yeah, I wonder what they're up to as well. Criterion can pretty much do whatever they want since they always pull a surprise. We'll see. If I see Burnout/Black... hahahah XD Cars AND FPS. Crazy,.
