Xbox One NFS connecting to EA servers?

I don't remember this before but now every time I try to start NFS I get a messages "connecting to EA servers" and
then it does nothing and I can't play.

I remember before it used to come up to choose cop or racer and so on.


Any ideas????

I finally waited it out last night and got on.

I am only "guessing", but maybe I can only play against other Xbox One NFS people and not everyone
so the pool of people online is lower???

Thats true, but it seems weird that the screen took an extended period of time, perhaps your internet connection is just slow, maybe not slow in general but EA recommends a minimum connection speed and perhaps your connection is below that speed

I started having this problem a couple of days ago.
Have been playing since November and then all of a sudden can not connect.
EA says they are aware and to go to their website and give more information, but there is a problem with even trying to post there.
