The title may be a misleading, but I couldn't think of something that wasn't long and tedious, so bear with.

Whether you love the current model or you're holding off for the inevitable drop in price that comes with a remodelling, what's that one game which you could never imagine working on the Xbone? Or better yet, what entire genre of games would you discount for release on the Xbone?

Personally I'd go for RTS or Grand Strategy games. I just couldn't see them working with the current model. Now, if Kinect was better then it could work. Imagine yourself commanding your armies Minority Report style.

I really haven't thought too much about it. I find that RPG's with clunky inventory/equip set ups are really frustrating. For instance, on PS4 they have the Final Fantasy mmorpg. Well, it's basically played the same as it is on PC which is fine for that console. Trying to move that over to the xbone would be beyond infuriating. So just anything that's a little too menu heavy.

Why would moving it over make it any more clunky than it is on the PS4, or am I missing something here? It seems like it'd play pretty much the same, no?

I would probably say something along the lines of FTL or a straight up RTS game but that's simply because of the controls and another would be like DayZ or something similar because of the way the inventory and such works would make it more than annoying with a controller.

i tend to agree with above...
anything that requires a ton of menu, scrolling would kill a game for me. especially rpg where a ton of spell, potions watching highly skilled players on pc in games like elder scroll just make me really wonder how its going to work streamline on console.

i like the xb1 controller.. but all in all i get lost with some games that require multiple button hits to preform a function.. if your not spot on allot of time it gives you a non desirable effect...

i use to hate racing games pre the trigger... everything was wide open or full brake... no progressive button press or feel.

Really, RTS, Grand Strategy and MOBAs (unless designed specifically for consoles like Awesomenauts) just don't work that well on consoles at all, not just the Xbone. Those are the only ones that come to mind as completely unable to work on the system.

How is Awesomenauts now that you mention it actually?

RTS games, MOBAs or any other game that requires micro-management of characters/items. Being quick and using shortcuts is one thing that differentiates a mediocre player from a good one - but using all that is impossible on a controller. Some games have so many shortcuts that the XBox controller would have to triple its number of buttons.
