Hey guys,

Just curious to know what other uses you have for your Xbox 360. Do you use it for ESPN, Netflix, Radio.fm, or do you solely just use it for video games? What are all the "apps" you have for your 360?

I use my Xbox360 for playing DvDs a lot. It's nice for that. I know a lot of people who use it for Netflix as well, I just don't have mine hooked up to internet/Live.
Otherwise, it's only for gaming. I don't use the apps or anything.

I have never used any apps for the Xbox 360. Most apps on it is accessible on the PC, and the Xbox 360 version of the apps doesn't look that great. However, the use of it may change if I do get an Xbox One in the future. Like many people, I use my console specifically for gaming. I have no use for other unnecessary apps that I can simply use on my mobile device, or on the PC.

Since I don't have that many games for my Xbox 360, I usually kill time by watching dvd's and videos through Youtube. I like to watch some documentaries on Youtube, as it kills some time and you get some useful knowledge. As for Netflix, I tried it for one month, hated it, and cancelled my subscription. There weren't that many good or new movies out, so I didn't see a point in keeping it.

I used to watch stuff that i put into the HDD so i could use the big screen instead the small one i have on my laptop. But it takes a lot of time just passing everything to the HDD, so sometimes i just use the laptop and keep the 360 for games only!

We've used our Xbox as a DVD player quite often. We've done a few housing moves over the years and before the cable gets hooked up we use it as a DVD player to be able to watch stuff while we wait for cable hook up. These days Netflix and Hulu get used on it just as often as we use it for gaming.

I mostly use it for watching Netflix or streaming wirelessly various vidoes to it so I can watch them on the big screen.

Other than that I sometimes also use it for Youtube if I want to watch something on the big screen such as a movie trailer or something.

It definitely became a Netflix machine for me . I usually prefer to watch it on my PC, but it's just good to have it as an option to watch it on the big TV. I've used it a couple of times when getting together with friends.

I use it for games and games only. I mean, I COULD use it for movies but I have my PC on my room and connected to the TV so there's no reason to use the 360 instead... so yeah, I just use it as a game console.

Other than playing my games i do on occasion use it to watch DVDs. It is so convenient and its already hooked up to my television so I do not have to "borrow" the kids DVD player.

The XBox 360 has a really cool display for playing music. I use it a lot at parties, just stick a CD in and watch it go. This sounds lame in comparison to other people but really I just use it for games and music.

if i'm not playing games on my Xbox 360, i'll be mainly using Netflix. There's nothing better than watching your favorite shows on a regular TV rather than your computer screen. Some other ways I use my Xbox are listening to music as a stereo device and watching movies. I love how you can connect to your computer from your Xbox, it makes my life so much more convenient. I can just download a movie online, then stream it on my Xbox with a bigger screen.

I used my Xbox for a number of different things. First and foremost for games, but I also used it to watch DVDs. I have a ton of apps downloaded, including Netflix, VUDU, NBA, LastFM and a bunch of other things.

This winter, I plan to use it for hockey. I would probably use it for TV as well, especially if Xfinity or TWC were available in my area. I love the functionality of this system.

I actually download a lot of movies off of torrent sites, so I always use my 360 as a video player. I download the movies, put them on my removeable storage unit and play them on my xbox so I can get HD. I also use Netflix quite a bit and I get almost as much use out of it watching movies as I do playing games, so I can't complain at all

I use mine for mainly gaming, but I also have netflix on it. I watch movies in it sometimes but I'm more of a blue ray fan and it doesn't play them so I use my blue ray player. I also use it to video chat with my family back east because my TV is much bigger then my computer so the entire family can join the conversation and be in front of the web cam at once.

I stream Netflix and occasionally Youtube, watch DVDs, listen to music, use the browser when I can't be bothered to get on the PC, and when the planets align, I use it for social networking.
