I went to the video store and rented Halo 4 last night. I only played offline last night so I could check it out a little before heading Live with it. It was so good. The back story was well put together and the graphics were amazing. So far I have to say I am impressed with this game.

I bought the game the day it released and I've been playing it everyday since! I can't believe how good the graphics are! In the beginning, when that woman was being interrogated by the man in shadows, it took me a few minutes to decide that scene was animated! I'm working on the Midnight mission right now, with almost 17 hours in - but I"m playing on Legendary, so I've been dying a lot, ha ha!!

I've been playing Halo 4 but I can't play it on Legendary; I don't see how you do that, tim6534. I haven't even tried to play it on Heroic yet; so far I've just been playing in Normal mode. Do you always start a game on the hardest level there is? I usually start on "normal" and then bump it up a notch after I beat it one time.

its like halo reach with a halo 3 feeling at the same time. its hard to describe

So is it still fun? Do you recommend I purchase it?

Do you like any of the other Halo titles? I would recommend buying it but I'm a Halo fan. My brother, on the other hand, hates Halo because it takes so many more shots to kill an enemy than it does when you're playing a Call of Duty title. It all depends on where your taste lies.

I've got some friends like this, too. One of my friends swears up and down that the time I spent playing Halo 4 before I bought Black Ops 2 "ruined" me and that's why I'm not doing as well on Black Ops 2 as I was on the first Black Ops. I don't believe it but even if he's right, I don't care. I'm still playing Halo 4!!

The campaign is deeply entrenched in the book fiction which is something Bungie did not do. If you like the story go back and read all the books and the universe will blow your mind. That said multiplayer is a mixed bag. Infinity Slayer is like Halo 3 on crack with a mix of CoD perks and stuff. Slayer Pro is pretty close to old school Halo. I like it a lot.
