Below you will find Prototype 2 cheats. Cheats typically create an advantage beyond normal gameplay, usually to make the game easier.
Prototype 2 Cheats/Unlockables
New Game + mode
Successfully finish the game on any difficulty and you will unlock the “New Game+” option in the main menu. New Game+ gives you a chance to start a new playthrough on any difficulty, while you retain all your upgrades and evolution levels from your previous playthrough.
Insane mode
You will unlock the Insane difficulty when you successfully finish the game on any difficulty.
Avatar Awards
Successfully finish the task required so that you unlock the given Avatar Award:
Alex Mercer Outfit: Activate RADNET then access the "Events" screen for unlock details.
Heller Hoodie: Activate RADNET then access the "Events" screen for unlock details.
James Heller Outfit: Activate RADNET then access the "Events" screen for unlock details.
Shield: Activate RADNET then access the "Events" screen for unlock details.
T-Shirt: Activate RADNET then access the “Events” screen for unlock details.
Easy “Icarus” and “So Above It All” achievements
To get these two achievements, you need to go to the top of the tallest building in the game; the Empire State building. It is located on Manhattan Island, inside the Red Zone, where you will not have access until later in the game. Once you get there, wall run to the top f the building and you should get the “Icarus” achievement before you reach up there. For the “So Above it All” achievement, you need to upgrade your Movement skills to the maximum. In addition, you will also need the Dashing, Jumpy and Jet Propulsion mutations. Run as high up the Empire State building as possible, use a fully-charged jump and then hold [Glide]. You can pump [Glide] to gain more seconds of hang-time. The moment you start to lose forward momentum and you find yourself falling, use the air-dash to regain your glide, and repeat the process. Keep using the remaining air-dashes to delay your fall.
Easy "The Floor Is Lava" achievement
It is advisable to go for “The Floor is Lava” achievement later in the game, after unlocking the Red and Green Zones. However, you can also get it easily in the Yellow zone. Standing on one side of the map, set the waypoint marker far away on the other side of the map. Climb a tall building and start gliding. Find more buildings and wall run up them then charge your jump. Repeat the process until you unlock the achievement.
Upgrade locations
Find the locations indicated and complete the required tasks in order to unlock the upgrades. To get any upgrade, you must consume the DNA of the target. In case you kill any of these targets accidentally, they will respawn randomly. The best way to go about it is to start by finishing all the main story and BlackNet missions. After that, fly over the streets using a helicopter in search of any remaining upgrades. You will be able to find the targets more easily if you enter the listed coordinates (longitude, latitude) into the in-game map.
Note: In case the targets got killed, they may respawn at different locations to the ones indicated below.

Black Box locations
You will find all the 45 Black Boxes in the locations indicated. Whenever you get within 150 feet of any Black Box, a special symbol will appear. The in-game collectibles map will help you monitor your progress, as it will show you the number of Black Boxes you have found and how many are in each area. You can also find the locations of the Black Boxes more easily by entering the given coordinates (longitude, latitude) into the in-game map.
