Xbox 360 Rainbow Falls - fixing the pipes?

Can anyone help me…I’m in Episode 1 at Rainbow Falls trying to fix this machine, with Small Pete shouting at me about pushing the big pipe in the middle of the room. But it’s stuck between two counterweight things - I’ve tried thinning them and painting them and jumping on them to try and shift the weight so I can get the pipe past, but they won’t move, so I can’t connect it to the flow…how do I get past this?!

Hi Miku - I'm not sure why it hasn't worked for you, but I used paint on the right hand side weight to color in some cogs that are on top of it. Perhaps you've not quite caught them right? Once you do the left hand side should lift up and you can push the pipe into the flow of blue stuff on the left.
