Xbox 360 Ranged, Melee or Magic?

Just wondering what everyone's preferred style is in the Fable games are. Ranged includes pistols and Rifles. Melee is of course the hand-to-hand combat weapons, and Magic is your gauntlets that help you create the power from another world.


Personally, I'm a magic preferred. As I keep all of my weapons strong and tidy, i prefer the combination factor in Fable 3. A force push ice storm or a fireball dagger surprise are just glimpses of the good in store.

Meele all the way, not only for Fable but I found that in all games in general I like to be the guy with the big axe. It just feels good to be clad in armour, knowing that little can touch you Magic and Ranged just feel too squishy , you have to constantly run and dodge things out of the way, but with meele you just get stuck in there.

I am generally a magic user, but ranged was definitely my thing for Fable 3. That said range backed by magic was the absolute best method as far as I'm concerned. There were some really good guns in that game and of course I made a point of unlocking their potential as best I could.

all 3 honestly.. i usually start out with a long shot.. ill get a small charge on the magic gloves. and finish off with a war hammer.

i belive i have a stated blunder buster style pistol.
magic is wind and ice at the moment. i did have fire and dagger iirc.
i tend to stick to the warm hammer as it has stat build a bit.

i also played the game the cheater style unknowingly so i can afford anything the game has within 10 minutes.

Magic (though you end up mastering all three eventually). Charge Fire spell, Release, and Repeat. Everything's usually too dead to bother you in melee. Still, Hammer for anyone too close for comfort.

One thing I always liked about Fable is you can dress up and look cool without sacrificing your combat ability.

What? What is cheater style and how do you play it unknowingly? I ended up with the ability to be spectacularly rich, but that came from working hard/missions/sound investments. It only takes a couple of hours to set up and then the game was stupidly easy as far as keeping promises and stuff.

For me personally, I very much prefer the ranged style of gameplay. I like being able to deal damage from a safe distance so that style fits me perfectly. Nothing works better for me than a bow and arrow that does some great damage.

In almost any game I'll go towards ranged or magic. For Fable 3, I was definitely a ranged user.
I'll switch between ranged and magic, but generally I use ranged.

Flint all the way pal, why beat people up when you can put a bullet in them right? But yeah I tend to stick with some manner of ranged attack whilst playing these games, usually guns but also some magic.
