Has anybody played the brilliant platformer Rayman Legends? If not, then why not wait for the Xbox One version? Ubisoft announced recently it's porting the visually-stunning 2D platformer to next-gen consoles PS4 and Xbox One next year in February. So not only do the current-gen and Wii U crowd get a taste, but now the new kids on the console market have a bite as well. So, anyone getting Rayman Legends for the Xbox One?

By the way, there's no official footage of the Xbox One version, so I went with a 360 version gameplay, for those who have no idea what Legends is.

I'm wondering what improvements they'll have for the PS4 and Xbox One versions, particularly the latter. Maybe they'll add a Smartglass option? After all, PVZ Garden Warfare is getting a Boss Mode which uses the tablet or smartphone so this version could have something like that to use the Murphy feature from the Wii U.

I'm playing Rayman Origins on Vita and damn! I'm loving the game. It's one of the best plaftormers I've played in years. Definitely a must-have game for anybody who loves 2D and platformers. Hmmm... I'll see what features they'll add for the PS4/Xbox One versions. The Wii U versions is the best they say but I'll see what the PS4/Xbox One has. Maybe they'll add some second screen capabilities. We'll see.

I love the game. Though will there be any difference to the Vita version? I'm happy that they are releasing a game like this for Xbox one. I just hope that they add more features into it. Like maybe a smart glass feature and if possible more maps and game play options.

From what I've read, reviewers say the Vita version is a cut-down version of the Wii U version. It includes those Murphy levels that you play on the Gamepad but you instead use the Vita's front and rear touch pad. Oh, and there's no multiplayer on the Vita version so you're just playing an on-the-go platformer.

Now with these PS4/Xbox One versions, there's a chance they could use second screen capabilties. Like, for PS4, they can make the Vita use that "second screen" option in Remote Play while for Xbox One, they can yes, like you said, use the smart glass.

Wow! Rayman Legends on the next-gen? This is going to be good. I really wonder what features they can add for the PS4/Xbox One. I hope they add some more levels. Either way, Rayman Legends is gonna be good on any platform!

If I ever buy Rayman Legends it will be on Vita. Still haven't even played Origins, though.

Regardless, cool to see a next-gen version coming. Ubisoft sure seems to like putting their games on as many platforms as possible. I prefer that to senseless 3rd-party exclusives...

Oh dood, you gotta try Origins on Vita! It's fun, fun fun. I've been having more playtime with it than Soul Sacrifice XD Though it sucks there's no multiplayer but hey, it's a good on-the-go game to have when you're bored.

Senseless 3rd-party exclusives? Like... what?

A next-gen version already? Sweet! Well, it just already shows Rayman Legends has spread itself across all platforms. Yup, I'm curious like you guys about what features they'll add. I'm sure they got something planned. Well, PS4 and Xbox One get to enjoy Rayman Legends!

I'm excited to see it because the version on both the Xbox 360 and PS3 are pretty great. But the best version of the game is definitely the Wii U version. Either way it's a fun game and something else for people who haven't tried it yet to play on the next-gen consoles. Also it's a pretty long game with a lot to do in it and high replay value, so it'll tide people over until the next-gen games come out.

I love Rayman games and I'll buy any Rayman title released, although I already have Legends on Xbox 360.

I used to play the original Rayman on PS1 religiously!

At last. Rayman for Xbox One. I miss this game. I have played the previous versions but I haven't tried Legends on Xbox 360. Though I have Xbox one now, I would probably get this. Any news on the release date if it's final? Either way, I am excited.

According to the developers, it's February 2014. That's it. No specific day. But February is the definite month. Well, if you haven't got Legends, Xbox One version is coming for you. Yup, Rayman has invaded all platforms, including the next-gen. "Yahaaaaaaa!" as Rayman would say

I love this game and I will probably buy it on a next-gen console however I think that if you haven't played it and you own a Wii U then you're selling yourself short by not playing it on that console. It's definitely a Wii U game, other than that the way that they transported it to the PS3 and Xbox 360 is pretty good to. So if you have an Xbox One and haven't played then I definitely recommend it.

I am looking forward to this too. I have changed my next couple purchases and this is now one of them,

oh god no this looks o hard from the video... i would be so lost.

Don't worry man; I was like that when I first saw Rayman Origins on trailer. I thought it was hard too but overtime, when I got my hands on it in Vita, I was hooked. It just looks like that but when you play the actual game, you'll get used to it and finally do all the crazy stuff in the trailer like you knew it.

Ubisoft has announced it's bringing forward the release date of Rayman Legends on PS4 and Xbox One by a week.

The next-gen version of the popular platformer will now be available on February 18 in North America and on February 21 in Europe, replete with all the updates and enhancements we originally reported

Well no major change in release, but still nice. For anyone who hasn't played the game on 360, I strongly recommend this game!
