I can't post the link because I don't have 25 posts, but you can find it over on Polygon. She is the current Windows head, has been at Microsoft for 15+ years and is considered to be a user interface/experience expert. Thoughts?

Current Windows head Julie Larson-Green is poised to take on Microsoft's hardware division, a role previously being pushed toward former Xbox boss Don Mattrick prior to his decision to leave the company, Bloomberg reports.
The role will focus on both Xbox consoles and Surface tablets; however restructuring of the company's senior management has yet to be officially finalized. According to Bloomberg sources close to the matter, former Skype president Tony Bates may also be on the way to take charge of acquisitions and relationships with Microsoft software developers.

Read about this also. Very interesting as it seems like some major changes are going to take place over at Microsoft in general and not just gaming. I guess the whole deal about Don Mattrick going over to Zynga is true. I guess now we'll have to wait and see exactly what happens in the coming months. I think the changes won't take place until after the Xbox One is released so that way the whole transition into the next generation will go smoothly.

intresting ... be nice if they brought new fresh younger blood in the mix...

Well, I just hope this Julie doesn't say as many stupid things as Don Mattrick.

She doesn't have much experience in video games, which I really don't like. Although she is has a very nice resume, I think the head of the Xbox One should be more involved in video games. But from what Microsoft has said about the Xbox One, it's no longer just about video games but the whole package. Don Mattrick though is a goober, some of the stuff that guy said was just dumb and it's partly the reason why it's behind in pre-orders right now.

i think he fell short in devilvering the message of the xb1 and how it would work... where they opened their mouth and fell short was not showing how it worked but rather let everyones mind run wild with what ifs that had no backing but also had no truth to show for it. when your 6 months away from a launch on something this big(6-10years married to) you should have allot more ducks in a row and show how they walk to the pond..

idk why consoles do this... the lack of any real info or showing how the system is supose. to work we got how some features on kinect worked with new gestures and such.. but with something as big as drm/sharing 24hr online... u need to show that in real world at a demo/press... heck pull the plug while in game show it stays playing and dosnt crah and burn... show me letting a friend join a game thats not on their list. if u want to make it seem great show it being great... not a well we can make it happen possibly.... their was so little lack of confidence with the inital press release... they went strong with e3 and were the talk but still were on fire from the horrible press release weeks before.
