Xbox One Resident Evil HD remake!

I was browsing through games last night and bought the Resident Evil HD remake for the One; I'm so excited to play it today! $20 was a little more than I wanted to pay for a game that old but I really don't like the newer Resident Evils anywhere near as much as the older ones.

Anyone else here gonna play this?

I bought it earlier this week and have been playing it ever since. I know it's been about 13 years since I played the original version, but I swear there are a lot of differences between the original and this HD remake. Are you noticing that? Like, for example, I don't remember the one-time-use defensive daggers.

I loved Resident Evil 4 the most, I know it received criticism for not having traditional zombies but I enjoyed it more than most games. As you progressed through what was probably one of the longest and biggest PS2 games ever made, it became more challenging and more scary. The monsters and enemies were amazing and the environments were beautifully crafted. The weapons system was great too. I just loved the general look and feel of the game. I hope that they find the time to properly remaster it like they have with the original. I don't think I'll ever play the version you're mentioning though as I've never been a fan of those kind of games. But I know many people do love them and everyone can appreciate a games company going back to their roots and remastering a great game.

Yeah, resident evil is just one of those franchises that seriously gets me pumped every time I see something to do with it. I've had so many glorious moments with friends getting through ridiculous situations, it's just a fun game. Sad more people don't take to the idea.
