Seems like the reviews for this are rolling out as well today (in addition to the Saints Row IV ones I've noticed). Good news; we're looking at high marks across the board!

IGN gave it a 9.2, Gametrailers gave it a 8.7, and Game Informer gave it a 9.

I have a love/hate relationship with Splinter Cell. I want to love stealth games so much, but I'm terrible at them. I've tried to play every Splinter Cell and every Hitman game, but I always quit a few levels in when the difficulty and complexity start to ramp up.

That being said, I was able to play through Hitman: Absolution on the hardest difficulty all the way through. I also got all the gamerscore in Splinter Cell: Conviction. I think the way they've lowered the difficulty for more casual players in the previous iterations of both games have really done wonders. Hopefully Blacklist followed suit and made it just as easy for someone who's not as stealth-gifted (like myself) to enjoy.

Oh man, that's impressive. I have never played any of the Splinter Cells, but I have heard great things about the game from friends, and reviews. This game got a higher rating than Saints Row IV which is very impressive in my book, but you mentioned it was a stealth game, which I'm very bad at. I might be picking up this game, but it's not guaranteed. If the stealth in the game is optional, and you can choose whether to go the stealthy route, or the loud route, then I there's a chance I will pick up the game.
