Xbox One Rumor: GTA Online May Come to The Xbox One

Rumor coming from president of Rockstar North, Leslie Benzies, is that GTA online may come to the Xbox One. The Company apparently wants to play it by ear and see if their is value to bring it to the Xbox One and PS4. Some good news is that GTA Online will be offered for free to those who purchase GTA 5. I hope the company brings the game to next generation consoles as I think that will be were its at for developers in 2014. Depending on how well the pre-orders and stock availability go.

This is good news. I, too, have been hearing about the possibility of a next gen GTA release. I think this will make them lots of money as people switch over to next gen but have to play GTA 5 online with the 360 and PS3. This is one to watch, I'm crossing my fingers that this becomes a reality.

I highly doubt that they will only release it for the PS3 and Xbox 360; they'll be losing a ton of sales, and even a bunch of fans if they do go through with this. Fortunately, I know Rockstar is a good company and will listen to its users, so GTA V will probably be releasing for the PS4 and Xbox One. Maybe on launch date, or maybe in a year. All I want is news that confirms that GTA will be releasing for the next-gen consoles, and it looks pretty hopeful at the moment.

One thing is for sure. They will not announce this before GTA V launches. They want those day one sales. I always though it would wind up on next gen. I imagine they would spiff it up a bit and increase GTA Online's 16 player limit. I am still going to get it day 1 most likely but I would not be surprised to hear something shortly after GTA online goes live in October.

I doubt it will and even if it does it will still be better on ps3 they have sorted it out for ps3 i doubt they will put it on the xbox and not ps4 personally i feel ps4 will do better even though i may get xbox.

So to anyone who would buy GTA V for the Xbox 360 would get GTA Online for the Xbox One... and for free? That seems a mighty fine deal right there!

with ubisoft andthe big title games claiming xb1/ps4 game pre orders are surpassing the 360/ps3 their should be enough raw numbers to open gta v developers to want it on the next gen. this would have been a huge push/sale to get a next gen.. the game is a staple at this point of course it would sell on the next gen. why they decided to not go multiplatform like cod,bf4,ass c4 is beyond me. if those games can do it gtav could have.

I think Rockstar is just trying to keep us guessing until their current gen versions are released. Thereafter, they are going to show us the next-gen version of this game. I think, it's going to look awesome.

Oh come on. It's not really a rumour is it? If you look at the PC releases of GTA games, none of them have been announced to come out for the PC, yet they all did a couple of years/months after the initial release. After they release GTA5 for the 7th gen, they will eventually get around to making a high end version of the game to be ported for the PC and the 8th gen consoles. It's not some crazy conspiracy rumour thing, it's common sense!
