Here is a presentation of an awesome feature implemented on the out coming Xbox One. Well, what is shown here is a PS4 connected to the X1 via a HDMI port. The Idea is quite cool, taking into account the fact that you could play PS4 games as well as the X1 on the same TV set without doing all the wiring again and again.

To be honest, i can't even see a better way to optimize the usage of two consoles in the same room, check out for yourself:

I watched this same functionality earlier with a Wii U. There was a bit of a delay, but still it was cool seeing Mario running on the screen on an Xbox One!

Seems like a great idea. But i would be seriously concerned about the delay, especially when playing games and stuff. Those milliseconds could be crucial. But, nonetheless, i guess not most people have two consoles at one place, so it's not more of an experiment. But the concept is cool, though

This is wicked sick! I wish i had the money to get two consoles and use this method. It would be awesome. No need to choose - just get both and the HDMI haha. Does anyone have any info on the time lag issue? That could be disappointment after all. But i am really looking forward to trying it out

well , time lag is expected, since you can imagine the way the signal is traveling. It goes from the PS4 to the Xbox, then the software places it into the HDMI channel and then displays it in a seperated app-like window. that is a huge way to go. I guess there is nothing you could do - just cope with it

well, its interesting. I wonder who would have two consoles and do such a thing? and why? lol. and the Explorer is a complete fail - who would want to browse like that? My thought if this is purely experimental, nothing more. I would not want my games to be lagging

wouldnt it also draw more power since youd be running two systems instead of just connecting it to the tv like a normal person?

Ahahah, oh wow, i wonder if they ever thought about someone doing that.

...wait a minute, are you saying i can stream a Xbox One to a Xbox One, which connect to another Xbox One, and in the end it connects to a last Xbox One, and that one is connected to a PS4, which can stream a game that can be watched on a Wii U? Someone get on to it!

The power consumption must be huge, but it's awesome that you can do this.
If I ever get the money for the two consoles I'll definitely try something like this. Kudos to Microsoft for including this awesome feature.

This looks like a totally pointless thing to me. Don't most TVs come with at least 2 HDMI inputs, anyway? Maybe more. Oh well, I guess maybe someone out there has some use for it, so it's alright.

All reports i have heard say it makes for a very noticeable lag
