Xbox 360 Saints Row IV Reviews

Looks like the reviews have started rolling out for SRIV, one of my most anticipated games of this year.

I'm always battling in my head whether I like Saints Row or Grand Theft Auto more, but if these reviews are true, it's seeming like Saint's Row is on the downward spiral. I knew when I heard the fourth entry was already being released so close to the third, that it was sounding like a quick cash in.

IGN game the game a 7.2, Gametrailers gave it a 7.1, and Game Informer gave it an 8.5.

So, not terrible, but not anyway nearly as high as Saints Row 2 and 3 were getting.

Either IGN and Gametrailers gave the game low ratings, and underestimated it, or Game Informer was nice and gave it a great rating. Anything above 7 or 8 is good enough for me to play, but when it comes to Saints Row, I really don't care about the reviews. The past month, I've been replaying Saints Row 3 with a friend. I never knew how fun this game is, there are so many missions, absurd weapons, great customizations, and overall, the game is very funny. I'm really hoping for some more features in Saints Row IV like controlling the firetruck hose, more hilarious weapons, and a longer storyline. I'm very excited for the game.
