I really enjoyed this game. The gameplay was very well done, albeit kind of basic for a hack and slash. Their storyline was pretty interesting as well, as basic as it is. My favorite part about this game, however, is actually the backgrounds. In all seriousness, when I played through Dante's Inferno, most of my time was spent just admiring the work into making hell... well... definitely look... unpleasant to say the least. I read The Divine Comedy back in high school and really enjoyed it, so one of my favorite things was to see their interpretation of the multiple levels of hell. For the work that the developers put into the background, it definitely stood out in my opinion. For those of you who have played it, what did you think? I hope that the scenery of this particular game was seen by more than just me!

It is a amazingly artful setting - I think that it would have been all too easy for them to fall into the trap of making hell either too 'fire and brimstone' cartoonish (unlikely with it being rated 18) or too 'horror movie'. As it is, I think there's a good creative balance and it feels kind of like a real place, if you know what I mean? I love looking at the backgrounds of games and appreciating the artwork that has gone into them.

Did you get the DLC? What did you think of it?
