Xbox 360 Skins question

I have heard that some of the cooler skins are only available if you bought the game through a particular retailer. Does anyone know if this is true?

I don't know for sure, but my brother has this game and he said he got a particular skin by pre-ordering the game from Gamestop. So I guess it looks like the answer to your question might be yes, it is true. It seems kinda silly though - if different skins were only available from different retailers then you're only ever going to be able to get one of them, because you'll only ever buy the game once?
