Below you will find Sleeping Dogs cheats. Cheats typically create an advantage beyond normal gameplay, usually to make the game easier.
Sleeping Dogs Unlockables/Cheats
Rico's outfit from Just Cause 2
You will be able to unlock Rico’s outfit in Wei’s closet if you have a saved game file from Just Cause 2 on your hard drive. With this costume, you will be able to stunt hijack from much further.
Health Shrines appear on mini-map
If you successfully take Amanda out on a date, and you manage to take photos of her, unclaimed Health Shrines will appear on the mini-map. For every five health shrines you get, your max hit points will be boosted by 10%. You will get this chance at the end of the second popstar mission, when she appears outside your apartment. Take her round the city (Bam Bam Club and the Temple) and finally to the martial arts dojo, where you are to finish the training exercise to complete the mission. After that, you can call her and arrange a proper date.
Jade Statues appear on mini-map
During the “Bam Bam Club” mission, you will meet Tiffany. Once you finish the mission, you will get her number. Call her later and meet at the Bam Bam club. Sing her a song and score 90% or higher on the song to complete the mission. After this, unclaimed Jade Statues will appear on the mini-map.
Lockboxes appear on mini-map
Once you have reached 70% game completion, you will have access to the “Important Visitor” mission where you will meet Ilyana. Call her once you finish the mission and she will challenge you to a race. Win the race to complete the mission and Lockboxes will appear on the mini-map.
Spy Cameras appear on mini-map
You will meet Not Ping during the "Listening In" mission. After finishing the "A Big Betrayal" mission, she will call you and take you somewhere to hack a camera. Hack the camera to complete the mission and Spy Cameras will appear on the mini-map.
Easy hacking
Use 9, 8, 7, 6 to start the hack. After that, move the yellow numbers to a new slot and substitute the red numbers with 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0. Do this repeatedly until the hack is complete.
Easy money
Once you are able to bet in cockfights, go to the arena located on the far left of the map. Most of the cockfight arenas have a betting cap, but this one does not. Save the game just before talking to the NPC at the front of the arena. Next, place a bet for the maximum amount of money you have available. If you fail to win, simply load your saved game and try again. Repeat this as many times as you want.
Easy "A Slap In The Face" achievement
You will take on the “Club Bam Bam” mission early on in the game. Inside the club, you will get in a fight with some goons inside a room lit by aquariums. Grapple one of the enemies, and drag him to an aquarium to perform an environment kill with the aquarium. Once the aquarium is broken, a fish will drop out. Use RB to pick up the fish, and use a heavy attack to instantly kill an enemy with it and get the "A Slap In The Face" achievement. If you miss with the first fish, grab another one; there are two aquariums in this first area.
Easy "Infowlable" achievement
Once you are able to bet in cockfights, go to the arena located on the far left of the map. Most of the cockfight arenas have a betting cap, but this one does not. Save the game just before talking to the NPC at the front of the arena. Next, place a bet for $50,000. If you fail to win, simply load your saved game and try again. Repeat this as many times as you feel like. Once you win, you will get the "Infowlable" achievement.
Easy "Sharpshooter" achievement
Drive around in a car while armed with a gun and initiate a police chase by hitting a police car. Once the police start chasing you, wait for the right moment to lean out and fire at them. Press LB to lean out the side of your car and take aim. This will make time slow down, giving you more time to line up your shots. Shoot the tires to get the "Sharpshooter" achievement.
Note: Making quick turns or circling around a police car will leave their tires better exposed and give you a clearer shot.
Alternatively, while on foot, start a fight with a cop on the street. Use some attacks to knock him out and pick up the gun he drops. Once cops start arriving, get some cover, and quickly shoot out the tires on one of the oncoming police cars to get the "Sharpshooter" achievement. If you are not quick enough, the cops will kill you before you can shoot out their tires.
Note: You must shoot the police car's tires while it is driving; it does not count towards the achievement if the car is parked.
Jade Statue locations
Search the locations indicated below to find all 11 Jade Statues. Jade Statues unlock melee combos, which you will need in brawls and street fights as you progress in the game. Jade Statues are quite hard to find, and most are located in areas that are locked when you start the game. Therefore, before you can locate most statues, you will first have to unlock that area by progressing through the game. After you find a Jade Statue, go back to your former martial arts teacher in the North Point. Your reward for returning this statue to him is that you get to choose one of the combos available in the "Melee" training menu and learn it by attending the class. To learn the combo technique completely, you will be required to perform the combo three times, and then you must defeat a set number of opponents, with or without using that combo. Once you finish the lesson, the new combo technique will be available in your list of techniques where you can access it.
Jade Statue #1
It is on the boat where the drug deal between the popstar and supplier takes place.
Jade Statue #2
Go to the second floor of Club Bam Bam. The statue is on the bar counter near the club manager's office. You will only be able access this area after Winston asks you to make an example out of the club's manager.
Jade Statue #3
During the cutscene, where Wei is accused of being a rat working for HKPD (Water Street Gang's Accusations), you will see a statue on one of the kitchen counters. You can also return to this territory later in the game to get it.
Jade Statue #4
You will get this in the temple during the "Bride To Be" mission. However, if you have completed "Tiffany's Song", you can enter the temple where the statue is placed on the central altar.
Jade Statue #5
It is in the waiting area of the central hospital. The hospital is always open so you can pass by anytime to pick it up.
Jade Statue #6
You will get this during the "Bride To Be" mission. It is in the Bridal Shop where you drive Peggy to.
Jade Statue #7
You will find the statue on one of the bars inside the K-bar in Soho.
Jade Statue #8
Go to the main hall leading into the greater cemetery near the Kennedy Town. It is on one of the seats in the entrance point of the viewing area.
Jade Statue #9
You can get this statue inside the gambling den on the northern coast of Central. You will only be able to access it after you complete the "Riffraff Disposal" mission for the doorman. This mission will only be accessible after you have finished the "Bride To Be" main story mission.
Jade Statue #10
You will find it during the “Bad Luck” main story mission in Act 3. It is in a display case in Chin Tsao’s Mansion.
Jade Statue #11
The statue is on a table inside the dining room of Vivienne Wu's apartment.
