eSRAM to small to output 1080p?

Sniper Elite Dev says Xbox One's eSRAM to small to output 1080p

Thoughts guys? Well, in my view, as many will say, it's still too early to judge the Xbox One's graphical prowess. After all, the developers have yet to harness the true power of the next-gen consoles so I say we just let it be and give it years. We'll see. Besides that, Sniper Elite dev says it'll catch up. But when will it catch up? Don't know yet.

What about this quote from the article:

""but it doesn’t mean it’s far less powerful – it’s just a pain in the ass to start with. We are on fine ground now but the first few months were hell.” "

It just means they have to workaround some things like the PS3 had to do in the past.

While it may be too early, a lot has to be considered when no such issues exist on the PS4.

This. So it's all about the workaround. Let's see if they can workaround it better than they did with the PS3.

True true. Still too early to tell. But these claims by a developer already shows that in some way, developers are still working around their ways to develop for the Xbox One. They've yet to harness the full power and structure so all we can do is just wait until they can finally get smooth with it.

Yeah, I agree. I've had Sniper Elite on PS4 since the launch. I see no issues ever since I had it.

See? But yeah, too early to say. Still, the PS4 has yet to see any issues the Xbox One has. We'll see in a few months. All the developers got to do is figure out how to do with the eSRAM and then we'll see some improvements.

But I know the Xbox One won't be the PS3 of this generation in the long-run. The developers just need some time. At least we know the developers are being honest that they can't output 1080p with the Xbox One right now, instead of telling us excuses.

well I baught both systems but I ended up selling my ps4 yes everything ran in 1080p hower it seems the colors were just kind of washed out. I usualy buy all consoles but this time I think im gonna sit it out with xbox. im sure Microsoft doesn't tell the public everything its hard to tell what else the packed in there as a fail safe, u don't just gamble with that kind of money.

any thoughts

wow it put the wrong gamertag? that's not my profile

What TV do you use? ';Cuz if you're seeing washed out colors, I know it has a lot to do with the TV and the settings you have. Anyway, it's still too early to say that the Xbox One won't be putting out 1080p. It'll come all together, as the others say here.

Yup, that's true. At least we know, at least we know. Now we're just gonna have to wait and see. For now, Xbox One will have to deal with not yet going for the 1080p. Right now, Thief was announced to be played at 900p. Well, better than 720p.

True, just give them 2 years and they'll make Xbox One even better than before.

You right dood. At least there's no more excuses. They're honest enough to tell us they can't do it right now but they can do it later on.

If they can make it later on they might be on to something else.

Yeah, you might be right about that. Maybe there's something in the works that we're not aware of.

They might be on to something really good for the gamers. I hope they could reveal it soon.
